The Northside Women's Ferndale Snow Boot is designed to be your go-to footwear solution for chilly days and outdoor excursions. Constructed with a rugged suede mid-calf upper, this boot features nylon panels that enhance breathability while maintaining warmth. The lightweight waterproof rubber shell ensures your feet stay dry even in wet conditions, making it an ideal choice for winter activities.
One of the standout features is the fully insulated lining, which utilizes premier 200 gram Thinsulate insulation. This ensures excellent heat retention without adding unnecessary bulk. Additionally, the gusseted tongue works effectively to keep debris out, allowing you to focus on your adventure rather than worrying about unwanted materials infiltrating your boots.

When it comes to choosing the perfect snow boot, comfort and functionality are paramount. The Northside Women's Ferndale Snow Boot excels in both areas. Its lightweight design allows for ease of movement, which is particularly important during winter activities such as hiking or walking in the snow. The adjustable lace-up feature ensures a snug fit, allowing you to customize the boot to your comfort level.
The traction outsole is another significant advantage, providing stability on slippery surfaces. Whether you are navigating through icy patches or snowy trails, the grip offered by these boots instills confidence in every step. Users frequently commend how well these boots hold up against varied weather conditions, reinforcing Northside's commitment to durability and performance.
While the insulation does an admirable job at retaining warmth, it’s advisable to consider layering your socks if you plan on spending extended periods outside in extreme temperatures. Additionally, potential buyers should note that the boot may fit slightly smaller for those with broader feet, so checking sizing carefully is recommended.

The fit on these boots is perfect, leaving enough room for thicker socks. However, the boots are so warm here in my Colorado mountain winter, that I haven't needed thicker socks. At first, I was concerned that without a removable liner my feet would sweat too much and I wouldn't be able to wash them, but this has not been a problem so far. I've had them out in the snow down to around 5 degrees F, and my toes never felt the cold. The rubber sole is also very grippy on the ice, and the top of the boot really keeps the snow out. Also, they don't look or feel clunky like some boots. This could be an advantage of not having a removable liner, the boot doesn't have to be so large to keep you warm.
I originally order an 8 1/2 (my normal size) and they were too tiny. I ordered a 9 and they fit wonderful. Plus no issues in returning the size that fit too small. They are warm, supportive, easy to clean, and my go to winter show right now!
I was excited to receive these boots seeing as I already have a pair of the Kathmandu boots and they fit great but I'm a normal size 9 and bought these in a size 9 but my big toe was hitting the front and I knew they would be uncomfortable to wear so sadly I have to return them but they felt very warm and had a lot of cushion but run tighter then the Kathmandu.
I walk 11 miles a day to deliver mail… these. Are. Amazing!! Feet stay dry, warm and to mention the fluffy clouds it feels like while I’m bouncing around lol. Just get them <3
Very warm and well made. Fit perfectly but we're just too clunky. I'm sure if you are hiking or need to be outside for a long time these would be great, but I just need to walk my kids to school and they are too bulky.
Ok so Im size 8.5 and they dont have helf size. So I orderd 8 and it was small. So I order 9 and its great. Will wear it tomorow see how it goes. Its a little chabby but its light waight and warm. Easy to wear.
Ordered half a size up just in case I wore big socks, and it was an excellent idea! Boots were really warm, fully waterproof and comfy. Only problem was the template came out, but I just replaced them and good to go!
Purchased these right before the Seattle snow storm hit. They fit wonderfully, they’re very warm (in a good way), great traction on the bottom and weren’t too bulky (as expected). I recommend purchasing for anyone who needs a basic snow boot for making it through winger!
