When it comes to winter footwear, insulation and comfort take center stage, and the Muck Boot mens Arctic Excursion Mid Snow Boot delivers on both fronts. Starting with its impressive insulation, this boot's ability to withstand temperatures as low as -40 °F is a significant advantage for anyone living in frigid climates. You won't have to worry about numb toes or chilly feet when you're out shoveling snow or taking a winter hike.
The fleece lining inside the boot feels luxurious against your skin, making each step comfortable. No one enjoys cold feet, and the combination of insulation and the snug fit helps retain warmth without compromising mobility. The EVA midsole improves comfort even further, providing cushioning that prevents fatigue during those extended outdoor activities.
Another highlight is the flexible neoprene material that adapts to the contours of your feet. This feature minimizes irritation from friction, which can often lead to blisters after prolonged use. The boot is also equipped with a rubber pod EVA outsole that grips diverse surfaces, enhancing your stability whether you're navigating icy sidewalks or muddy trails.
In terms of practicality, the waterproof construction is vital. You can trek through slush or unexpected puddles without worrying about soaked socks. All seams being cemented, stitched, and sealed means that water stays out regardless of how wet the conditions get.
However, it's important to note the potential downsides. For those living in regions with milder winters, these boots might feel excessively warm. Additionally, if you're looking for a sleek pair of boots, these are bulkier than traditional designs. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall functionality and performance of the Muck Boot mens Arctic Excursion Mid Snow Boot make them a top contender for winter footwear.

My husband had a pair of these for like 5 years and we just now are needing to buy a new pair for this winter. They last a long time, and easy to slip in and out of, true to size!
These are my second pair and I love them. Worth the money. Keep your feet dry and warm. Warm enough for MN winters down to about zero degrees or so. Especially if your active and have warm socks. Great quality.
I got these as a gift to my husband. They fit him perfectly, true to size. They are super light weight, which he loved. He used his friends boots while he went hunting and his biggest complaint were how heavy those were. Over all great boots
Got these after nearly every pair of boots I have leaked and got my feet wet and cold. These are exactly what I had hoped they’d be - light weight, comfortable and warm. I ordered 1 size smaller than my normal shoe size (12 vs. 13) and they’re perfect. Just enough room for thicker socks if needed but nice and snug too.
I got these on sale. I have always have the arctics and used them for years. They do clearly say arctic excursion in the description, so I knew they wouldn’t be the same. However these in my opinion are not even close to the same quality. I would not want to go ice fishing or be out in cold weather with these. They are fine for cooler weather, but I don’t understand buy arctic is in the name. I bought these for $99 for my son. It doesn’t get cold while playing Xbox inside the house, so I am sure he will be fine with these.
I bought these boots and was skeptical about the price being $100 less. I got my order and it came in an authentic Muck box and the boots look and fit great!
The -40° rating is laughable. These may be the worst cold weather boot I’ve ever worn. I think my steel toe timberlands would be warmer. I wore these boots ice fishing last weekend in 20° weather and my feet were cold in 30 minutes. Numb in 90 minutes. After a few hours I was speculating how many toes would be black with hypothermia (luckily none). The boots go on and off easy, they’re comfortable, a bit tight around the calf (can’t tuck pants into boots to keep pants dry), overall a nice saltwater fishing boot. NOT A WINTER BOOT.
I just got these last night and used them today to snowblow out my driveway and sidewalk, and my feet stayed warm and surprisingly there was not any build up of snow on the boots! Very pleased with these.
