When evaluating the KEEN Women's Revel 4 Mid Height Polar Insulated Waterproof Snow Boots, several aspects stand out. Firstly, the materials used in their construction promise durability, thanks to the oiled full-grain leather which also contributes to their waterproof abilities. This ensures that you can confidently navigate wet and snowy environments without the worry of soggy socks.
Another critical aspect is the comfort and support. These boots come equipped with a thermal heat shield insole that captures warmth exceptionally well, making them ideal for frigid temperatures. The lightweight EVA midsole further enhances comfort, allowing you to wear them for extended periods without fatigue.
Meanwhile, the traction offered by the non-marking rubber outsole cannot be overstated. The KEEN.Polar lugs provide excellent grip on both snow and ice, ensuring stability whether you're hiking or just walking around town in winter.
From an odor management standpoint, the Eco Anti-Odour technology embedded in these boots is a noteworthy feature. It effectively combats unpleasant smells, keeping your footwear fresh even after rigorous activities.
However, it's worth noting that some users have reported the boots running a bit narrow, which may be a consideration if you have wider feet. Additionally, there is a breaking-in period before they reach peak comfort.

Bought these for a Christmas present for my wife. They have great traction for winter and also keep her feet warm. No breaking in, they were comfortable out of the box. Would buy them again.
I have a pair of Keen shoes that I love to wear and wanted to try these for cold weather hiking. They fit as expected are warm and offer great support with a large toe box like my shoes. My only complaint is the tops are too rigid and hurt my ankles even if I left the tops unlaced. I reluctantly returned them for that reason only. If you can wear firm ankle support boots these are great.
These boots are exactly what I needed for hiking and outdoor chores in the winter. They grip surprisingly well on packed snow and ice, work well with snowshoes, and are very conformable and supportive, so much so that I haven't even had to put performance insoles in them like I usually do for hiking boots. Great purchase!
While no boot without cleats will be perfect on ice, these are about as good as you can get. I feel safe and secure on slippery surfaces, and they look good too.
These boots fit perfectly. I normally wear a size 7 but thought I should order a 7.5 to allow for comfy socks. After reading reviews I decided to go for the 7 and they fit great with socks! So comfortable! Bring on the snow and ice!
I am returning mine and getting my true size, but I did wear them around my house and they appear to be comfortable, true to size and very grippy. Looking forward to getting my actual size to wear.
Keen makes wonderful boots, however disappointed to have received a pair that has obvious blemishes from being worn and likely oiled to cover defects.
Took these all over the Colorado Rockies in winter. They kept me warm and they didn’t fall apart.
