The boots are really nice! They keep my feet warm on walks through the snow. The zipper is a little short to where I have to unlace the boots to get them off. That really kind of defeats the purpose of having a zipper though. I still gave them 5 stars because I love keen boots! They also have nice room in the toe area!! I would recommend them!
Comfortable and super warm.
I’ve owned Keen shoes & boots for at least the last decade. The tall Greta are a Keen design disappointment. The Purpose of having a side zip for a lace up boot is ease of entry and removal of boot, not the case in the Tall Greta boot as the side zipper isn’t long enough and you have to fully unlace boot to remove. The fit has a major gap/fold and the stitching looks like it’s unbalanced and will likely fail. Warmth factor is good. Would of returned them but after a trip out to the barn don’t think that’s a likely option. Will try and sell on fb marketplace and get another pair of Danner’s.
I love keen, but lately they’ve been cutting the toe box a bit too narrow, and no one is perfect. These boots are perfect. I have hypermobility and a chronic hip issue, and often walk with a cane. I don’t need a cane in these boots. They support me the whole way up. I feel like a super hero or something. My pain is so much reduced but more importantly, I’m not unstable in these boots. I’m unstable without shoes and in nearly every pair of shoes, but I’m totally stable in these boots. They are so amazing. I wish I could get a pair for warm weather too.
These are good gripper boots for ice and icy snow. I just wish I had ordered a size larger. In my regular size, these boots fit well if I wear thin socks. Thick socks would, of course, be better for winter!
My wife needed to size up by a half size for the best fit with warmer socks. The shoes have kept her feet warm and dry. Almost as important, she never had any rubbing or blisters. She walked over 10 miles in these boots her first day using them. That is really great. She would also recommend that you use boot socks since the upper material can be slightly scratchy on the skin. Overall, a good purchase for her that does what she needs.
I love these boots. They are nice and warm for the cold winter months.
This is my second pair. I wore these to the barn x2 for 2 winters and for all my outside time in Maine. Finally wore them out. I liked them so much I bought this 2nd pair. Warm and lightweight.
