Your first impression of the KEEN Men's Revel 4 High Polar Insulated Waterproof Snow Boot will likely be its robust build quality. The combination of waterproof leather and mesh offers both breathability and durability, crucial for those long treks in the snow. The insulation is top-notch, proving effective even in extreme cold, making it ideal for outdoor activities such as skiing, snowshoeing, or simply walking through snowy streets.
As for comfort, the wider fit accommodates various foot shapes without compromising snugness. The cushioned collar ensures that movement is not restricted while providing support around your ankles. On slippery surfaces, the traction offered by the KEEN.FREEZE rubber outsole is noticeable—it grips well on icy terrain, giving you the confidence to move freely without worrying about slipping.
However, it's important to note that these boots carry a heavier weight compared to some alternatives. If you prefer lightweight options for quick trips or casual use, you might find this a bit cumbersome. Additionally, while the design is functional, some users may wish for more color choices to suit their personal style.

Great boots. Actually this is the third pair of high top Keen (10 inch) boots that i have bought in the last six months. My wife thinks I'm a boot junky, and I guess I probably am. My life style gravitates toward back country enjoyments and I am always on the lookout for the most up scale, high tech boots on the market. This dates back to the '70s when I did a lot of really rugged sheep hunting here in Alaska. Seems like every few years or so I would fall for the latest and greatest boots, and were often satisfied, but often disappointed as well. But these Keen boots are really great. The first Keen boots that I bought were the Summit County Boot and they stayed in their box for two months as i just wasn't ready to break in a new set of boots. But when I did, I had to say "wow." My requirements generally look for comfort, ease of putting on and lacing up, and a stiff enough platform for sidehilling and standing up to sharp rocks. These boots are very comfortable, easy to get into, and they cling snugly to my feet without heal slippage. While I haven't done much sidehilling with them yet, I have put a lot of miles on them in rugged country. I liked them so much that I immediately ordered a pair of Keen Coburg Steel toed waterproof work boots. I bought these boots because I do a lot of tree felling and bucking in dense forest for fire wood harvesting. While I don't have as much time in these boots yet, they seem every bit as comfortable and functional the Keen Summit boots. So, now that winter has arrived, I just had to spring for the KEEN Revel IV High Polar Boot as well -- and they do not disappoint. Temperatures here in the Wrangell Mountains can easily drop to minus 30F and these boots keep me quite warm so long as I stay active to keep the circulation up. The boots are easy on and off and the high tops keep the snow out. The tread seems good on ice. The waterproofing is good, but I did treat the boots with snowseal, Overall, I am very happy with these boots and will probably cycle into some future version of these Keen brand boots when these finally wear out. Great boots. Can't say enough good things about them.
These boots are perfect- I live in Alaska, and these are just what I was looking for. Well insulated for the crazy ass freezing temps. Have great traction for the snow and ice, comfortable, waterproof, easy to lace up..what more could I ask for?I even like these better then my bunny boots and thats actually saying alot.
I received them a few days ago.Out of the box I found them to be quite comfortable. I haven't worm them for an extended period yet, since I bought them for winter and it's been in the 90's.Size wise, they seem to be sized properly, no need to order up or down in size. The only reason i did nor give them 5 stars is because they are a bit wide. Not that bad, but if they had fit perfect they would have got the extra star.I don't yet know about their insulative effectiveness, or how they are ro spend a full day walking around in yet.But so far, they're great.
Warm, comfortable and sturdy winter boots that can handle -35°C and lower.
I have diabetic neuropathy and finding shoes that are comfortable has always been an issue. I have three pair of Keen's currently, that are all over ten years old, but as I have gotten older my feet have changed. The three pair of Keen's I currently have are all size 13 but have started to cramp the toes. I got these boots for hunting and have been wearing them for the last several hours to see how they feel. I ordered size 14 and what a difference. They are great. So much so I will be ordering a pair of Targa's in size 14 for everyday wear.
They are not warm and cut into my right ankle all day, I will never buy again
I've been in law enforcement for 30 years. We're in a gun belt and body armor tends to hurt your back. I have tried other shoes with back support nothing beats these Keens!! Great quality changed my life! I Highly recommend them, if you walk or stand! I found it they are true to fit and size when ordered on Amazon! Five stars all the way!
Warm, fit well, though I do find the toe-box a bit narrow. I usually wear 8.5 or 9US, bought 9 and am glad I did not go smaller.I ordered 2 pair, first has been fine so-far for a month of use, but second set (purchased as gift) had one of the lacing hooks pull free the first time it was tied, so quality may not be consistent.
