When it comes to winter footwear, the Kamik Yukon 5 stands out due to its impressive blend of comfort and functionality. The waterproof capabilities are highly effective, allowing you to navigate through slushy streets or snowy trails while keeping your feet dry. The 200B 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation plays a crucial role in maintaining warmth, which is essential during the colder months.
The design includes a moisture-wicking lining that significantly enhances comfort, especially if you're on your feet for extended periods. The removable molded EVA insole adds an extra layer of underfoot cushioning, promoting all-day wearability. Users will also appreciate the secure fit afforded by the six sturdy metal eyelets in the lacing system, making it easier to adjust tightness based on personal preference.
However, it's worth noting that the Yukon 5 may feel heavier than some alternative options available on the market. New wearers might also experience a brief break-in period where the boots may not feel as comfortable. Despite this minor drawback, the overall performance and quality of the Kamik Yukon 5 make it a worthy investment for anyone seeking reliable winter boots.

Thank you, HDO Sport, Amazon, and Canada! I'm hard to fit and without you I'd never have found these great boots. They are a little snug in width but better that than boots that won't stay on securely (don't ask me how I know, but it is possible to lose some boots in a snowdrift). Build quality is good and they're comfortable right out of the box.
02/15/2020So these boots needed some breaking in to get them to be comfortable but now that they are broken in to my feet dimensions through wearing them around the house. i've worn them like everyday in the slushy snow in February. the tread is great and the rubber is better than other companies where i have seen people saying their rubber part was cracked. Before i bought these i almost bought sorrels. found out they make them in china instead, on a forum i read go with KAMIK, they are still made in CANADA, Canadians dont mess with winter boots, they know what winter weather requires. and these are the best winter boots i've ever worn.
I love these boots, they are well constructed and are comfortable and warm. I haven't worn them in snow, but they kept my feet dry in puddles and light rain. The sole has good grip on wet pavement.I ordered a size 10, which is my brannock size. These fit about a half size to whole size big. I would recommend sizing down with regular socks. Mine fit well with extremely thick socks, typical wool socks areI saw another comment about the upper being bulky. This is absolutely correct. The upper isn't form fitting to the foot. If you're buying these as pure working boots, it's not an issue and the extra space provides some comfort. But if you're looking for an LL Bean "look" fall boot, you should know that even with pants on, the lower part of the upper bulges significantly.Another minor quibble is that even after light use, the insides of the laces are coming out. They do not seem high quality.Overall, I really like these and I'm happy with the purchase. Great value for the price.
Great looking and stylish, well fitting, and well made..... definitely keeps my feet warm and dry in one pair of socks. Definitely not eskimo snow boots, but high enough to trudge through snow piles and sharp looking enough to wear out to the store or dinner.
Good boot. They run big
A bit too bulky
Fantastic quality, great fit and unbeatable price. What’s not to love? Highly recommend
These are so much better than my Sorels (which cracked on the bottom from very light, urban wear during snows and let all the water in). And they're half the price. They take a little time to wear in at the ankle, otherwise very comfortable, warm and great traction.
