The Kamik Men's Icebreaker Cold Weather Boot excels in various categories:
The knee-high design coupled with a cinchable nylon collar effectively shields your legs from the snow and rain, while offering a snug fit. The removable insole allows for better airflow and can be swapped out to accommodate custom orthotics if needed. However, keep in mind that during the initial wear, they may feel a bit stiff.
Constructed from 95% Rubberhe material, the durability of these boots is commendable. They are designed to withstand rugged terrain and its self-cleaning outsole helps maintain traction even after trudging through mud or slush.
Whether you're navigating through a winter wonderland or working outdoors, the Icebreaker’s lightweight structure and waterproof features shine. While they excel in wet conditions, it's important to note that they might not provide adequate insulation for extremely cold temperatures, limiting their use during severe winter months.

I've been using these boots for years now for hiking in the wet winter woods in Washington. Little snow , lots of rain. I've tried gore-tex hiking boots but water eventually makes it's way through every time. These boots are the only solution to keeping my feet warm and dry in the rainy woods with puddles, creeks, mud and wet foliage that I have found. They feel like slippers and don't rub my heels. I can comfortably walk for miles in them and the tread is reasonably good. Not as good as the best hikers but certainly good enough. I really like the removable liners and cuff at the top, it goes a long way for keeping the warmth in and the water out For the price I give them five stars for design and performance. However they are not long term durable. I have to repurchase every one to two years because the liners wear out pretty fast in the heels. you can buy new liners but they're almost half the price of the boots and honestly with hiking socks I don't even notice the heels worn out and have used them for a year like that without damaging my socks or noticing while I'm walking. If they made these in a heavier version I would probably pay more for it but even the more expensive performance rubber boots don't have this easy slip on design with room to breathe, that's probably why my feet stay so warm and comfortable in these. I actually order a size down from what I normally wear and it's a little snug feeling on the sides for a few days then perfect fit after that, no problem with toe room.
These boots are extremely durable and waterproof. They are the warmest boots I've ever had, which is great for fall and winter, and a nice surprise since I literally can't remember the last time my feet were warm. They are flexible enough to walk comfortably, even in subzero weather. They run large though. My shoe size is 10.5, and I ordered a size 10, which fits with thick SmartWool socks. Don't expect them to fit like an elven glove though. They are a bit loose around the heel, and snug around the ball of the foot, but it's what you'd expect for a slip on boot. The speed and ease of slip on boots makes up for it. I attached a spring cord clamp on the upper lace to increase speed and use with a gloved hand. The soles and tread are great and flexible, but rigid enough to hold YakTrax chains. These boots are relatively heavy, so don't expect going on expeditions, but they're great for general outdoor winter work and walks on snow and ice. You can't beat the price for what you get. I bought 2 additional pairs for the kids and they love the ease of slip on/off, and how warm and waterproof they are. I'd definitely recommend these, and will likely continue to get these. Just be sure to order a bit smaller than your normal shoe size.
It's absolutely fantastic, with a warm "valenki" inner boot. Very versatile, worn in -20F (Northern Minnesota), and in 60s too. Wore them when broke the foot without the inner boot.I am buying my third pair, though, as they start leaking after about a year of relatively heavy use. Still, look at them as disposable boots, and buy them again without hesitation.
The Kamik Men's Icebreaker boots are an absolute winter game-changer! These boots are not only incredibly warm but also waterproof, keeping my feet dry in snowy conditions. The insulation provides exceptional cold weather protection without sacrificing comfort. The rugged design and durable construction make them perfect for any winter adventure. I've worn them in the harshest conditions, and they've never let me down. If you're looking for reliable, warm, and durable winter boots, the Icebreaker is the way to go!
Bought these for my husband. He loves them. Very warm and comfortable. Great for winter
I've had these boots a few months now and love them. We just went through the December 22 freeze here in east Texas and I was out taking care of cattle, breaking ice in the troughs, fixing plumbing, etc., in temps down to 12 degrees with a -4 wind chill. I have issues with my feet getting cold partially due to neuropathy which is why I bought them. They performed wonderfully! Comfortable to wear for extended periods of time and kept my feet warm. Nothing else has kept my feet nearly as warm, even with good wool socks (which I also recommend). I told my wife I might get another pair to be my "dress" rubber boots. The fit is a little lose but that's good when you have neuropathy. The toe box is plenty wide, which is where I usually have a problem with any boots. Definitely five star and a reasonable price.
My husband LOVES these boots. We grabbed this pair for a terrific sale price so he would have an extra pair waiting for him.We live in Minnesota where it gets cold and these are so warm that he wears them in the coldest of winter days and without socks. We own a hobby farm so his boots get a lot of use while he's out doing chores and just working with the horses and our German Shepherds. He can't recommend these boots enough and hopes the company never changes them nor discontinues them. The liners tend to wear out first-never the actual boot and it was cheaper to buy new boots at the sale price than buy new liners. These are warm, lightweight and just great boots to have.
Great boots except too big, I changed to one size smaller than my usual size, works great
