Have been buying the Kamik Waterbug-wide for years for my grandchildren (now 8 & 6). The Waterbug is the more waterproof version—they are seam sealed. The wide has a slightly thinner felt liner—but still does a good job keeping feet warm. The kids play in weather as cold as 0 degrees F. I get the regular width Waterbug for my granddaughter who has narrow feet—these have the thicker felt liner. That works really well for her.
I love these boots for my kids. They are very warm, extremely durable, and last us years through multiple kids. The style is basic and works for both boys and girls. The fit is true to size.
These boots have great quality and are very warm for my five-year-old grandson. They last very well, and still look brand new when he grows out of them, which means they’ll just get handed down to the next child!
We changed the sizes from kids size now needed to buy men's (7). Was using this brand boots since the kid was toddler. Previous experiences were great (warm and comfortable boots, no complain). Now, way too wide at the top for my teen, also too heavy. We return the product.
