When it comes to comfort footwear, the FIRESIDE by Dearfoams Men's Byron Bay Shearling Warm-up Boot Ankle sets a high standard. First, let’s talk about the feel. The genuine Australian sheepskin lining envelops your feet in warmth, making it impossible to want to take them off once you've slipped them on. Underneath, the soft suede outsole adds an extra layer of coziness, perfect for kicking back on the couch after a long day.
In terms of functionality, these slippers shine. The temperature-regulating feature is particularly noteworthy. Unlike many similar products, these slip-ons adjust according to your body's heat, meaning you won't overheat during warmer days. Additionally, the moisture-wicking capability keeps sweat at bay, which is especially beneficial if you're wearing them for extended periods.
Moreover, the pre-treated water and stain resistance give you peace of mind, allowing you to navigate daily activities without fearing spills or rain.
On the flip side, while the sizing generally fits well, some consumers have noted that they tend to run slightly large. Therefore, carefully considering your size before purchasing can ensure you receive the perfect fit.
Overall, the FIRESIDE by Dearfoams shearling slippers are an excellent choice for anyone seeking a blend of luxury and practicality. Their thoughtful design caters not only to comfort but also to durability, ensuring that they can withstand the test of time.

I purchased these as a replacement to a similar pair that I had for years from Cabelas. I spend a lot of time in my lower level and in the winter it can get downright chilly. These slippers keep my feet toasty warm, all the while feeling great. The lining provides a great cushion, as well as keeping my feet warm. I'm actually thinking of picking up a second pair for the future, in the event that they stop being made. I would recommend these to anyone who wants to keep their feet warm while running around the house. I wouldn't recommend wearing these outside by themselves, as their really is no rugged foot sole on them.
Very comfortable. Great product and price
I am enjoying my slippers very much. Warm and comfortable! Love that that they don't have the hard rubber sole like my previous slippers. These Fireside slippers are much quieter and comfortable to walk in around the house.
Well made. Super soft. Perfect for life in the North woods. Exactly what I was looking for.
Nice and warm, definitely indoor sole
I have wanted replacement slippers for some time. These super soft, furry slippers were a wonderful Christmas gift. I will ask for more.
As stated in other reviews…upsize and get wide. Warm but not sweaty…..an absolute bargain compared to competitors costing 2X and more. Best house slippers I have ever owned after cycling through multiple “premium” brands.
The fluff on the Inside sole started to bunch up at the toes after 2 days. I had to continually stick my hand inside and even it out as it was uncomfortable walking on an uneven surface. After a month It was so deterioted I just ripped it out and now I have slippers with no cushion.Everything else about the slipper is great and I was hoping these could be a replacment for my 2 year old ll beans. However, I would rather pay extra for slippers that will last more than a month
