If the male of Timberland yellow boots species and the female of chunky, classic DVS skate shoes species fell in love and spawned a perfect baby, these shoes are IT!!! Maybe I should call them Skateberlands. Or Timberlates. Either way, these shoes are exactly what I was looking for! The sole is probably 1”-1 1/4” thick, unlike most other skate shoes which basically have you standing on the ground itself at 1/4” or so. The insole is squishy and comfortable, great toe box and tongue, and I love the yellow laces. I switch between yellow work boots and skate shoes. These are basically the most perfect shoe I’ve put on my foot since I can remember! I truly hope they hold up forever, because I’d never need another shoe in my life! Also, they showed up on the shy end of the shipping window during the coronavirus outbreak, so I was really impressed with that. I’ve found a new mistress to be in love with that my wife will be ok with; my new DVS Skateberlands!
This is my third or fourth pair of these shoes I have bought. They are a soild winter shoe that is well insulated and stylish. They are bulky like a D3 but it is functional for the insulation. I prefer these over any winter boot for the day to day winter activities.
Super comfy insoles thick durable soles we’ll worth the price
I've bought 2 pairs of these guys, the first ones I've had for almost 2 years and still holding together and I use them for exclusively for work now. Definitely worth it.
I've worn globe shoes for awhile now and thought I would try something new this time around. These are lighter, not built as well. The previous pair of Globe Men's Tilt Skateboarding Shoe I've had have been great, more padding, sturdier, better stitching, thicker material, but heavier. If looking for a comfortable lighter shoe, these are decent. If looking for a heavier, padded beat the crap out of, scrub back down after a weekend of kayaking, taking the bike out or whatever, and they still look good shoe... I recommend the Globe's.
I really liked the comfortable fit, almost like you weren’t wearing anything. I got them for a lighter more comfortable work shoe, where I’m always on my feet. I have had a hip replaced and struggled with finding something to wear for work that would be fine all day, and when I found these I fell in love. I have bought two pairs over the past three years and both times they did not disappoint. Highly recommend!!
I intended to buy shoes, purchased these. They are, in fact, boots. No bend in the arch, no arch support, not very grippy on the bottom. But I’m sure they will be very nice in the winter. I just…meant to buy shoes lol.
Hands down, the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. So much this is my second pair of them. Durable and stylish with the plaid laces(bummed this pair didnt come with them, I used my old plaid laces from my first pair). Its like walking on clouds. Price is a little high, but totally worth every penny!
