Very happy with this purchase. Very comfortable, soft rubbery boot. Doesn’t cut into the ankle like other rain boots I’ve tried. The width is a little narrow for my foot but they’re stretchy and flexible and contour around my foot. And they’re Fashionable to be able to wear them with a dress if you needed to.
I can't say enough about how much I love these boots. I've had them about a month and worn them to work 3-4 days a week. I do work inside but am out and about during the day. Our weather has been very rainy and snow, slushy. They have performed well, my feet stay dry and the traction is great. In some of the reviews I read comments how they were not comfortable, I find them to be very comfortable. I have a size 10-11 wide foot in the toe area. The fit is perfect and roomy, even with a thick sock. The support is not like a hiking boot ( it's not a hiking boot), but nice and flexible and cushy. I've had so many comments how cute they are, I'm over 60 and the younger ladies really like them. They are stylish comfy and functional. Would highly recommend.
I bought these boots for the purpose of wearing when I take our dog outside. They appealed to me because they're waterproof and not too clunky. The green color isn't something I'd normally choose, but I liked it the best of the options. The profile of the boots are fine for my intended purpose, but if I were looking for a more fashionable boot, I think I'd look for something with either a little more contour or slightly more of a heel. I was hoping these would slip on easily, especially in the mornings when I stumble down the stairs trying to wake up before we go out, but they đefinitely require use of my hands to put them on. (For Context, my previous yard shoes were duck shoes that were goofy looking but had a wider opening for my feet) I've already gotten to try these in cold and/or wet conditions and they are indeed warm and kept my feet dry. As another reviewer mentioned, they aren't lined, so depending on your needs, you may consider adding a lining. Lastly, my true size is a 7.5 and my feet are a little narrow. I ordered an 8 since half sizes aren't an option. Without socks, these are a tiny bit big. Today I paired them with really thick socks and they filled in some of the space to give a comfy fit.
Love these boots. Easy to slip on and off, comfortable, totally waterproof and still cute.
I did the try before you buy to find the right size. My normal shoe size is a slender women’s 10. I was looking for something that didn’t feel tight in the toe box and bunion. Some people mention sizing down so I tried on a size 9 to start, but it was way too tight and too short—it hurt my feet so much. Then I tried the 10 wide, but my feet were SWIMMING in the boots. The 10 fit the best but the definitely have a loosenesses to them, so I wear thick socks. But they look great, are pretty comfortable, and you can tell they will last a long time. I’ve worn them outside in the yard and I’ve dressed them up for work. Word buy again.
These boots are so cute and comfortable but they run big. There is a big gap around my ankle so when I walk I feel like these boots wants to come off my feet. I bought a pair of shoe liner but it only help a little bit. I’m very disappointed because I really like them but I think Im going to send them backI wear size 6 1/2M base in the other reviews I bought size 7. Also size 6 cost $69.00 and size 7 $55.00 that doesn’t make any sense so because of that difference in price I’m not going to exchange it for smaller size. Those old reviews didn’t help me at all.
Y’all. I have had picky feet my entire life. I get blisters easily, my toes go numb with new shoes easily, my ankles bruise when boots rub against them. I don’t wanna be this way! But I am. These were comfy the second I slipped them on, and I wore them all day (9 hours) bc we have received 9” of rain in under 24 hours…so other than sleeping I’ve had them on to run pups outside, run errands etc. No rubbing, no blisters. Super comfy. As a (cough) 52 y/o I struggle with hip pain when I don’t wear my work danskos and supportive Birks or sneakers- and after about five hours I could feel my hips aching, but typically I would not be running around in these that long- so I’m not worried one bit! Perfect for dog walks and errands on rainy days! So glad I tried them. I have an average width foot and they’re comfy with a thin sock- typically a 7 and the 7 fits perfect! LOVE! Will def order other colors bc we live in a swampy climate- lucky us.
I've owned these boots for about 6 months now and they've stood up to rain and mud. They are still completely waterproof and pretty warm for the fall (not suitable for snow though). They are pretty attractive shoes and not too clunky like tall rainboots. I'll definitely purchase Bogs again in the future!
