I purchased my first pair of Bogs last year and was skeptical that they would keep my feet dry and warm. It gets well below zero here so I was pleasantly surprised. The pair I bought last year is a size 8 & the knee high style so I wanted a shorter pair of winter boots and ordered this pair. I did try a few styles on at a store but found a better deal on Amazon. I normally wear a size 8.5 or 9 depending on style. I ordered these in the size 9. They fit perfectly! I have plenty of toe room if I want to wear thicker socks. I haven't needed thicker socks with my other pair of Bogs. I recommend Bogs for both comfort and warmth. My husband also bought a pair of men's Bogs this year and he loves them too!
These boots are wonderful. I love the ease of the zipper. It’s an extra step from just a pull on boot, but I leave the laces a bit loose, so I don’t need to retie them. If I tied them tightly, I would not be able to pull the boots on., and I have pretty narrow feet and calves.I’m a 7.5 street shoe but always buy an 8 in boots; they’re perfect for fitting a thicker sock. Comfortable on walks around the ‘hood and short hikes with the kids.
The boot was a full 1/2 size too small.
This pair of women’s BOGS are the best boots I’ve ever had. They’re easy on with an inside zipper, easy off with a heel lip, they don’t stink like rubber as my last pair of Mucks do and they’re surprisingly wide enough for my extra wide feet. The soles are pretty much non slip (last KEEN work boots were not and I had a bad fall while wearing them) and these BOGS haven't leaked at all while wading thru puddles. Also, the bottoms don't have nooks and crannies or lugs that accumulate mud etc as I clean up our donkeys’ field. Great purchase!
These boots are fantastic. They are warm, waterproof, incredibly comfortable and I love the zipper/laces combo. They look great too. I wish I had bought them years ago. Perfect for snow, mud, wet, cold, they make the winter feel good.
