These boots are absolute awesome! They are incredibly warm and really well made. I am a size 7 and these are a bit small. I could only wear thin socks with them, not thick as I would typically in cold weather. I would recommend buying 1/2 size larger to ensure you have room for warm socks.
Snowmobiling and hiking in upper peninsula MI, the boots were perfect for this ..
These were almost the boots I kept as my official snow boot. Why? Because these are the good rugged boots that are hard to find for women. They are well made and rugged. However, they also run super small, are a bit stiff and are only slightly warmer than the Baffin Iceland boots I kept. I am a true 8 1/2 size shoe and had to buy multiple sizes of these to discover I needed a size 11 to fit. The 11's felt like a 9 to me. These boots were only ever so slightly warmer than the Iceland ones (Baffin Iceland are rated -48F, these are rated -58F). I tried both boots (Jess & Iceland) on at the same time to compare warmth. My feet still got cold in these when sitting outside in the cold and not moving around, just at a slightly slower rate (my hands & feet are naturally a lower temp so they get cold easily). These boots would probably be great if you really need something rugged, but I found these were a bit stiff to drive in, it's manageable but the Iceland boots were more comfortable and flexible. I also could not fit jeans or looser pant legs into these boots like I could with the Iceland ones. But if you need stiff, rugged boots to work outside in, these would probably fit the ticket, just buy 2 sizes up, so if you're an 8 1/2 - 9, get 11.
Order a full size up! Runs very small but an excellent boot.
Loved the boots but they run VERY small. Usually wear an 8, seeing the reviews they run small, i ordered a 9. When they arrived, they were too small. Had to return for a size 10!! We will see when they arrive if they fit!
I am a Chicago native and I have gone through too many boots over the past decade. Finally, found the right boot and got to test it out this week. Warm, comfortable, great design and even better traction. Essentials for the winter. love them. Size up from your normal shoe size, they run a size small.
Best boots ever!! Fit perfectly! So nice and warm!!
I bought the size i wear and they were to small. I returned them and got a size bigger and those are almost to small. Other than that they are really good boots.
