The Baffin Women's Light Winter Boot is an exemplary choice for women looking for light yet effective footwear for winter activities. Its focus on comfort without compromising durability makes it stand out among its competitors.
Starting with the design, the breathable nylon shell along with the drawstring snow collar effectively protects against snow infiltration, making it perfect for those unexpected winter outings. The adjustable ghillie lace-up fastening adds to the fit's precision, ensuring that you won’t have to worry about slipping inside the boot during vigorous movements.
When it comes to comfort, the removable anti-fatigue insole and Hex-designed outsole are noteworthy features, as they enhance both comfort and grip. As someone who values walking long distances on snowy trails, I found the cushioning adequate for prolonged wear, although those looking for a more structured ankle support may find it lacking.
The superior insulation technology shines through during colder days. The combination of the Thermaplush layer and B-Tek Foam lining provides a snug fit that retains warmth efficiently without causing overheating, which is often a problem with other boots.
Moreover, waterproofing is where the Baffin boot excels, the B-Tek Dry technology ensures that wet conditions—from slushy sidewalks to deep snow—are handled with ease. This is crucial for maintaining dry and comfortable feet during winter excursions.
In conclusion, the Baffin Women's Light Winter Boot is highly recommended for anyone seeking a lightweight, comfortable winter boot that performs well in cold and snowy environments. It does have some limitations regarding ankle support and color choices, but its overall performance in insulation, comfort, and waterproofing makes it a must-have for winter enthusiasts.

This is a nice boot but it runs small. Order next size up.
I bought these lovely boots for myself in the fall, stashing them in a closet for winter. When we had our first snowfall this season, my 13-year old son went rummaging for a pair of boots that would fit. He emerged with these, with a triumphant “These fit! And why are they so light?” Alas I haven’t gotten the chance to wear them myself, but he loves them, wearing them in snow and slush, even to school. (He obviously hasn’t looked hard enough to see the tag inside that says “women’s”.) Oh well, I’m sure by next year he’ll have outgrown them and I will get my turn!
These are awesome! I tried 4 different brands before getting these. I am a size 8.5 sneaker and ordered a size 9 and they are a perfect fit. They are super light weight. Definitely water proof. I live in New England and wanted snow boots specifically to play in the snow with my kids. We played in about 2 ft of snow for about 3 hours before my toes were too cold and I needed to come in and my feet were submerged in 2 feet of snow the whole time. The only negative that I have is that they are. Bit hard to put on.
Not thrilled with the top of the boot. The top should be a little firmer to make them easier to slip on. Makes an annoying crinkly sound when walking.
I’m glad I waited until this boot went on sale. I’ve heard a lot about Baffin boots, and I guess my expectations were too high. Perhaps the more expensive boots are quality boots, but this pair is on par with Walmart‘s boots. Infuriates me when the insert comes out whenever I take off the boots. I overpaid even with the sale price.
Very easy to put on/off. Keeps feet toasty warm. Love how light they are.
This boot is super comfy, but my feet get wet-and I am not even walking in deep snow- vehicle to building distance mainly and even after rubbing a water sealant- still have damp feet.
No issues at all with the quality of the product. Personally I try to support local manufacturing and am willing to pay more for it. Baffin’s website says they make products in Stoney Creek Canada. These boots are made in China. The price is expensive for something made with low cost labor.
