Comfort: The Under Armour Assert 8 excels in comfort, thanks mainly to its EVA sockliner which provides a plush feel right out of the box. The lightweight mesh upper adds to the overall comfort, allowing for natural foot movement. However, some users reported a slight breaking-in period is needed for them to achieve the perfect fit.

The one-piece EVA midsole plays a crucial role here, making it ideal for sports activities and casual wear alike. We have purchased Under Armour shoes in the past for our son. They are very durable and last until he outgrows them every time. He is a very active kid (read: not conscientious about keeping his clothes in good condition). This brand holds up well. He is always happy with the look, the feel, etc. they seem to be actually appropriate fit for growing feet (as opposed to shapeless shoes). Always please with quality.
I purchased these sneakers for my 10-year-old nephew who is obsessed with Under Armor. He has been wearing them every time I see him because they are his favorite. He loves the color, which matches many of his other Under Armor clothes, and he has commented that they are so comfortable. I always buy them a bit larger than the size he is wearing because he is growing so fast. For the quality and price, you can beat purchasing these sneakers.
This is our son’s 2nd pair of this type/brand of shoe, and we just love them! They are durable & lightweight, and fit him very comfortably. We got the pair with the black/white & blue accents and they really look sharp. Thank you Under Armour!
These have become my son’s go-to shoes. He says they are comfortable, and they’ve worn well so far, even with daily wear. They look as good as new, and he plays hard in these things. I will likely buy another pair in a larger size when he outgrows these.
This is the only shoe I have been able to find online that fits my son's wide feet. I have tried ordering other brands but they are always too narrow. I also have trouble finding wide ones in the stores. The one issue with these is the shoe strings. They come undone more than they should but double knotting helps. Other than that, they are pretty durable and he says they are comfortable. I recommend these shoes.
I bought this brand and style of sneakers for both my grandson and granddaughter. They come in colors for both boys or girls. They both say they are comfortable and they do hold up. This style goes to a big boy/girl to size 7. My grandson now wears a size 7. He grew 2 inches over the spring. At this time, I only had to order new sneakers because he needed a bigger size. His older sneakers are still in great shape and he wears them every day to school, the gym, and summer camp. But I do pass on all shoes and clothing once I bring it home and wash and clean it, then give it to community aid that is fit for other children.
My son is 8 yo and wears a size 4. I got a size 4.5 because the size 4 was out of stock. The 4.5 fits great with a bit of room to grow. Very happy. Nice length of laces for him to tie too. He said they felt good on his feet.
Not much more to say other than it's a great shoe. In my opinion I find that Under Armour tends to run a tad small or almost right now. If your kid is between a 5.5 and 6 for example definitely go for the 6. Even if they normally wear a 5 or 5.5 the 6 might be the best choice. But it's overall close to size.
