We have to hide these sandals very often, otherwise our young toddler that just started walking will be sleeping and bathing in them… I’ve ordered a 0.5 size up already, because there’s no way she’s going to give them up easily and I’m afraid something would’ve happened with this pair 🫣 The price is steeper than other brands, but you can really feel the difference between the materials, cushioning, fit between Stride Rite First Walker shoes and few other brands that we’ve owned so far, even when the price is comparable. Also, having a Wide and Extra Wide sizes available is a huge plus for a chunkier baby we have.
Highly recommend
We got these for our 1 year old who just started walking. These seemed to really give her a boost of confidence. She went from taking tentative steps to walking all over the place in a matter of days. I think the extra stability and grip (we have a lot of hardwood floors and these can be slippery in socks) really helped her out. She actually asks to put these on by walking over to them, holding them up in the air and calling out to us until we come over and put them on her feet. Highly recommend!

This is brand is not cheap. But the quality is not what I expected. My son worn the shoes around two months to daycare only and he started Smelly Feet. This is sandal and should be breathable. Will not recommend….
These shoes are very flexible. They seem comfortable on his feet. They are easy to get on a squirmy child and he doesn't seem to care to take them off. The only downside I see is they don't seem very durable. But little kids feet grow so fast that I don't think it's a big deal. Overall, worth the money.
These were great, but after 1 month of wear, the strap broke. I was very surprised because I thought Stride Rite was about as reliable and high quality as it got for baby shoes.
