The Stride Rite Boy's Made2Play Brighton Sneakers are designed for kids who love to be active while looking stylish. With a focus on performance and comfort, these sneakers provide everything your child needs for an enjoyable day at the playground. The breathable materials help reduce odor, making them perfect for all-day wear.
These sneakers not only score high on style but also on functionality. They feature extra-grippy soles that allow for quick movements and safe play. The adaptability of the sneaker is impressive, as it can easily accommodate braces or orthotics, thanks to its removable insoles and adjustable straps.

When it comes to choosing the right sneaker for your child, comfort and functionality are key, and the Stride Rite Boy's Made2Play Brighton checks both boxes. The Ortholite memory foam footbeds provide excellent cushioning, which is crucial for young feet constantly on the move. Coupled with a padded heel collar, this sneaker ensures that your child can run, jump, and play without discomfort.
A standout feature is its machine-washable capability. As any parent knows, kids can be messy, especially when they’re having fun outdoors. The ability to toss these sneakers in the washing machine is a major plus, allowing you to keep them looking fresh and clean with minimal effort.
Another great aspect of the Brighton sneakers is their adaptability. With removable insoles, parents can adjust the depth to accommodate any special needs, such as braces or orthotics. This makes them a fantastic choice for children requiring additional support.
However, it's worth noting that while the sneakers are designed to fit wider feet, some reviews indicate they may still feel too wide for certain users. Additionally, the selection of colors could be more diverse to cater to various preferences.

Thes were nice and as described. I have had them for a while and they hold up really well. My son has very wide feet across and from top to bottom.
My granddaughter loves those sneakers. They fit her great & they look nice. She says they are comfortable.
Buying kids shoes are like playing roulette. You hope they last long enough before your kids grow out of them. When comparing to other shoe brands, you may not get the flashiest shoes, but you’re getting quality and durability for a cheaper price. They’re also shoes that you can wear out to play or pair with an output for church. These were easy-on and easy-off for our toddler, but we didn’t have to worry about them popping off. The Velcro was sturdy too. You didn’t have it seem to give out after a few months like other brands. We liked this shoe so much that we bought it in his next size too.
Loved these shoes, great for any occasion and we've always trusted the "stride rite" name. But they do not last for active boys. They lasted 2 months and got a hole in them. Extremely disappointed.
I’m glad this worked out for my daughter. She’s very picky but 60 bucks for a pair of Children’s plain white tennis shoes?
My 11 year old loves these shoes. Fit is good and easy to put on and take off. Got size 2.5 and they fit really well for him. Recommended.
I love Stride Rite Sneakers for my daughter. She has a wide foot and these sneakers are true to size and are wide enough for her feet. What a GREAT price. Cannot beat the quality of this sneaker. I will continue to buy Stride Rite Sneakers if they keep up the great quality and at this price.
I got these as uniform shoes for my grandson to wear. After Christmas break he started wearing these. Less than two weeks and the top seam on both shoes is opening and discolored to white. Shoes are black. This is a good brand of shoe! He had worn Sketchers last school year into this school year. They still look good but too small and now they don't make them all black in his size, with velcro. So, I found these. They are attractive and comfortable shoes but now will end up buying a another pair. I expect shoes to last the school year, or at least half the year, if they still fit. I was truly surprised at the substandard quality.
