The Stride Rite Boy's Cooper 2.0 H&L Sneaker in White is an excellent choice for parents looking for a versatile and comfortable footwear option for their toddlers. Designed with lightweight materials, these sneakers offer a breathable and fun experience for your little ones as they navigate their world.
One of the key features of the Cooper 2.0 is its easy-to-use hook-and-loop closure, allowing children to put on and take off their shoes independently. This not only fosters independence but also gives them extra time to get used to wearing shoes before transitioning to lace-up styles.
Product | Closure Type | Weight | Material |
---|---|---|---|
Stride Rite Boy's Cooper 2.0 H&L | Hook & Loop | Lightweight | Leather/Synthetic |
Nike Air Max Tiny 90 | Lace-Up | Moderate | Textile/Synthetic |
New Balance Fresh Foam 880v10 | Lace-Up | Lightweight | Mesh/Synthetic |
When it comes to toddler sneakers, the Stride Rite Boy's Cooper 2.0 H&L stands out for several reasons. The shoe's lightweight EVA midsole ensures that your child can engage in active play without being weighed down. Furthermore, the rubber outsole provides superior traction, which is crucial for those early steps into running and jumping.
The memory foam insole is another highlight, as it molds to your child's feet, offering tailored comfort throughout the day. Parents will appreciate the machine-washable feature, ensuring that these shoes remain clean even after the messiest of adventures.
However, while the shoe is designed to accommodate growing feet, it's vital for parents to measure their child's feet accurately, as some reviews mention minor sizing discrepancies. Overall, these sneakers align with Stride Rite's legacy of crafting high-quality, functional, and stylish footwear for kids.

I got these on sale. They’re a little big, but my son will Grow in them. They seems to be very comfortable even with the use. They’re also very easy to put on and take off.
My son had to wear black leather shoes for school. Went through a couple of other that gave him horrible blisters. These lasted a long time and didn’t hurt his feet at all.
I have been using Stride Rite for years and I have no reason to ever choose otherwise.Stride Rite are durable, fit as expected, and comfortable to wear. In my experience, these shoes will easily last up to a year with minimal care, which makes the price you pay worth it.I have always and will continue recommending Stride Rite to those needing durable shoes that keep going and going, and going.
These seem to be really well made but run small! I wish they had the size we need but if it comes in stock I’ll definitely be ordering again. Seem to be good arch support too, and good for narrow feet!
These shoes are so pretty and true white. They fit true to size and are super comfy for my toddler
My 5 yr old son is super anxious and crazy picky about shoes and really anything he puts on his feet. We are starting Kindergarten this fall and uniforms are required. White sneakers for Phys Ed. He actually put these on and liked them! And wants to wear them now. I told him we have to save them for school bc white shoes wouldn’t last a day outside with a 5 yr old boy. Very happy about these!
I placed the order on September 27, 2020, today October 29, 2020 is the last day to return them, I mention this fact to give you an idea of how long, or how little time it took for this shoes to start falling apart, not because I want to return them, even though I think they suffer from a bad manufacturing defect, they should have lasted at least a couple of months. My 5 year old started to wear these shoes to school on October 5, 2020 and not on weekends, only 3-1/2 weeks ago. He wears them from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, most of the time spent in the classroom as we have experienced very hot days here in So. Cal, I consider it to be very little time for these shoes to become dangerously deteriorated! I say dangerously because for a child aged 5 they could be a tripping hazard due to the way they are falling apart. Stride Ride has been my two sons go to foot wear since birth, I am very disappointed!
