These shoes are fantastic, especially for kids with a very high instep. This is the first shoe we did not need to order in extra-wide (or remove the insert) to accommodate the high instep. They open very far, making it so easy to put on a struggling toddler or even to teach toddlers how to put on their own shoes. Even with the single velcro strap, these still provide a great customizable fit. We've found Stride Rite shoes are completely worth the premium price because they provide excellent walking support and have reduced our child's toe-walking and stomping.
I bought these for my grandson, so he could have a pair of shoes to keep at my house. He was a late walker at almost 19 months. These shoes are easy to put on him and he loves wearing them! They are holding up great. I thought they would scuff up, as when he first started wearing them he was still mostly crawling, but not so! They’ve proven very durable. They are obviously comfortable and seem to give him good support. Am planning to order the next size up. I definitely recommend!!
I absolutely love these and so does my son! He gets so excited when it's time to put his shoes on, so I know they are very comfortable for him. They look super cute and high quality, these shoes all the criteria I was looking for in purchasing my son's first shoes.
I ordered some stride rites from their website and spent a good amount of money for some extra wide size 5 shoes for my 12 month old. I used their measurement guide and everything, but I received them and they didn't fit. Luckily, I was able to order these on amazon assuming that the first purchase was just one size too small and because it's amazon I didn't have to pay shipping fees and knew that if it didn't work they at least offered convenient returns. Luckily, they fit perfectly!
These shoes were not a tan brown that I was expecting they are grey. They are good quality and I like that you can remove the sole for wide fit and also have that comfortable padding. They are super cute for my son!
Bought these for my grandson. They are easy to get on and off and have a great option to take out the inserts to make shoe wider if needed. He is just learning to walk and gets around well in these!They are scuffing up pretty quickly so I hope they’ll hold up.
Great first shoe for my little guy. Easy to take on and off. The tongue doesn’t get in the way. Also love that it’s easy to clean. It is a little stiff, but more sturdy for outdoors vs his moccasins. Took a little while for him to get used to them.
