These shoes are great for my little boy. He can walk really well in them and has even started running. They are true to size.
Our son recently transitioned to a toddler room at day care and unfortunately they require shoes. It has always been a battle to even wear booties so I’ve been dreading the day.Thankfully, I’ve found this pair! These are the first shoes I’ve put on my 12 m old where he didn’t instantly cry. He will wear these all day long with no tears and that is a solid win in my book! He’s even handed them to me to put on in the morning so he must like them!However, they have not been the most durable. Our son does stand and cruise around but he also still crawls a lot like most early walkers. These shoes do not stand up to crawling at all. The very first day the outer fabric had ripped and by day 3 there was a significant and visible tear across the entire toe area. Since they grow so fast at this age I expect we can wear them for a while still, but I was sad to see we won’t be able to use for a second kid or resell after we’re done.I did contact Stride Rite to inform them of the concerns I had in durability and they actually provided me a gift card to their website! I’m very pleased with the support from this company and how much our son seems to like the shoes. Therefore this we will certainly buy more shoes from this company going forward!
