The laces are a super slick nylon that won’t stay tied. We’ve tried to double and triple knot them. But they just fall open. Also, the zippers on the side won’t stay up. Overall, the shoes are super cute but unwearable by my 7 year old, who would rather run around with her shoes about to fall off than to continuously tie/zip them.
