They've so far withstood a 5 year old running around the playground and school and have help up really well. They do seem to run a bit on the tighter side, so I would definitely recommend some time for breaking them in before anyone needs to wear them for long hours. My son's feet aren't that wide.Overall I would highly recommend them to any little minecraft fan. They are sturdy, and easy to clean. Now that he has broken them in, he is very comfortable with them.
Sketchers does not disappoint with this kids shoe. Sketchers do run a bit small. Durable and comfortable shoe, I would advise using some type of protective spray before first use as the pixelated effect loses its punch once the white squares get roughed up at the playground.
My son really liked these shoes! He wore them for his first day of fourth grade. They fit him great and he said they were really comfortable. So was a great purchase all in all!
We bought this for my son who outgrew all of his shoes during Covid (which was 18 months, and during that time he mostly only wore crocs if we ever take him anywhere). He loves it. I bought him another sneaker, just to rotate through so it doesn't get stinky but he always prefer this one. He has been wearing it almost daily all summer (we've gone camping, he wore it to sports camps, and now he's back at school) and the shoes, besides being super dirty, is still in excellent shape. Not that it shouldn't, but we've had crappy sneaker that the tip of it broke off in the first week of him wearing it, so I am really happy that this one lasted so long and he'll probably wear this until his feet is too big for it. I wouldn't be surprise if he will ask me to buy him the next size up, but I guess it also depends on whether he is still big on Minecraft or not. If you have a little one who is obsessed with Minecraft and is always on the go and super active, I would recommend this sneaker.
Pretty good for the pricepoint. Velcro is holding up pretty well. I have since purchasing machine washed them twice since my son is extremely adventurous and they have held their shape and not shrunk. Easy to clean whenits a simple mess and my son says he likes the heel thickness for additional support.
My son LOVES these shoes. I would size up a half size. Unfortunately my son's size is sold out EVERYWHERE so we will keep these and just order new shoes after the summer.
My 9 year old is very picky and tough on his shoes so I was very pleased with how much he loves these! He says they are very comfortably padded and he loves the pulls on the tounge and the back of the shoe to help him put them on quick.
My son usually wears through shoes quickly, making holes in the front. These shoes have held up and he loves the design. He said they're comfortable in comparison with other tennis shoes.
