Love these as a first shoe for my son. These are sturdy while still being flexible enough and have the all-important bump toe so they don't get scuffed up. Will probably buy at least one more pair when his foot grows a bit because I think these are perfect for little feet.
These are the cutest shoes. They seem very well made (not unexpected from the Pediped name). I put them on my 15 month old and immediately she was up and moving - she didn't seem to even notice they were there. These are our go-to shoes now. I'd definitely buy them again.Regarding sizing, my daughter is a 5, so we got 5.5. I thought these ran slightly big/wide (compared to a pair of Stride Rites I bought at the same size). Of course, it could always be a case of skinny feet (she's slightly below average for weight and 95% for height- I don't know if these things matter to help you gauge their fit). No matter, she hasn't had any issues with this and doesn't even try to take them off at day care.If it helps: I was very hesitant about which level of shoes to get from Pediped and didn't find much information of what constituted the difference between first steps and their next level up and exactly where my daughter fit into that. I went with the grip and go's while she was walking okay- walking maybe 1/3 of the time, crawling the rest. These wound up being the right level for her.Make sure you check for deals. These normally sell for over $40/45. I got them on a special deal on Amazon for $21.
Perfect sneakers for a one year old! They fit perfectly and are great quality and have fun colors. My daughter loves to put on her shoes now!

Love these shoes!! These are the first actual shoes my daughter wore after the soft sole Robeez shoes and it took a couple of hours of wearing for her to get the hang of them but once she did she couldn't be stopped! I love the color of the shoe and the look and I love that it has a lot of grip since my daughter loves to run around and play outside. The fit is perfect and as expected I would definitely recommend and will be buying a second pair soon!
I really loved this shoe and very much wanted it to fit but something about the way this shoe was cut just didn't work for us! My daughter normally wears a 5 in pediped so we bought this shoe in that size and it was huge on her. She clomped around in them a bit and they looked like clown shoes. A few days later, I went to a children's shoe store and tried the same shoe on in 4.5 and it was too small. I think because these are sort of like Mary Jane's they are wider than the normal pediped. That may work out wonderfully for you but we sadly had to find a different pair of shoes!
Love this shoe! I have gotten it in every size for my child and they lasted through his younger brother. Even sent them to a friend for a third child to get use out of them. They wash great as well! Great quality! Would highly recommend!
My son has a high instep & ive struggled to find comfortable shoes for him. These are perfect! Comfortable for him & attractive! Worth every penny
