Its becoming extremely hard to find sneakers for children that provide proper/traditional lace-ups that can be tightened accordingly to provide better ankle support. These sneakers fit the bill perfectly, and the style looks really great too. Overall a superb sneaker. Fits true to size - child is a 2.5, and these fit well.

I have super small feet so I have to shop kids shoes, I wear these to work and always get compliments. Recently I got mud in them and coffee and with a toothbrush and some dish soap they were good as new. I like them as a travel shoe as well bc they are comfortable.
I liked that the wide width was wide enough for my child’s very wide foot. The only downside is that they get dirty very easily and are difficult to clean because of the fabric. My daughter wears white sneakers as part of her uniform and out if all the ones she’s ever had these have been the hardest to clean. I’d still buy them though as they are comfortable and wide

Not our first pair of new balance kids. They are durable and hold up great to all our kids throw at them. They still look good when we hand them over to another family with smaller kids.
