My daughter's feet are slightly wide and this shoe does not offer a wide option, but I still purchased as I loved the shoe so much! I had a pair of dr scholls slip on's and I felt like I was walking on clouds, so another reason why I bought them for my daughter. SO, upon delivery I immediately put them on her and her foot did not go in (not from the width, but from the top of her foot. I was beyond devastated but didnt return them right away, as I didnt have time to. Glad I didnt because a month later, I tried again with a different sock (the ones that cover a little more than the toes) and it went in, but it was still a little snug. I had her walk around the house for 10 minutes or so to see if they left Mark's and it wasnt too much. I took them off and stretched the top a bit and when I put them back on, it was easier to go in. After 4 hours in them, the shoe was slipped right on like normal.I'm an overly cautious and careful mother and when it comes to my daughters shoes, I am very careful as to how her feet react to shoes, especially new ones. I am really happy to report that after 2 days of using them, no blisters- not even at the back of her heel and the best part is, they dont look that dirty. Purchase them and you'll love them too!
