I needed a skate shoe that would allow a new orthopedic insert following a non-skating related foot surgery.The foot bed sits low enough and the toe box is deep enough that you can put the insole in and it will still grip your foot. Depending on the orthotic your heel may sit a mm or so higher but the shoe is still secure.Size up half size to put in an orthotic insole.Very happy. Great vibrant color too!
