Little brother loved the shoes! When they came in they seemed to fit just a tad to tight but once they were wore in they fit him amazingly. The size we ordered was 4.5. The build seems good and I'm sure he will outgrow them before any real wear shoes up on them
For anyone into shoe painting, these are perfect! I was able to purchase them for a very low price and the surface was perfect for acrylic paint. The color didn't matter much, because it was painted over, but these were red. I bought them for my daughter and painted shopkins all over them. She says they are very comfortable and cute.
These shoes are really nice, seem quality and look exactly like the photos. My son was SO excited about them! Unfortunately, they are very narrow. He has somewhat wide feet, but somehow Vans work. We really wanted these to, he loves skating and I know DC shoes serve their purpose for such activities. If your children have wide feet, these will likely be too narrow for them. I did read that their other styles of shoes are great for all, so we will try those.
My kids plow through shoes all the time. They are so rough and tough on their shoes with running around and all the activity. I found traditional tennis shoes like Nike's were wearing out too fast and for the price I found the investment was NOT worth it. I also found Nike has the softest tread in the market so I will no longer be buying that brand. I love the DC brand as these shoes can take a beating and the tread and body of the shoes are durable and last! My kids love them and talk about how comfy and easy to wear they are, we are DC shoe lovers for life.
****Update***** Here we are almost 4 months later and my son says they are too tight and small. His toe is not about to break free so we do not know the true uncomfort he feels but he does not like these anymore. We had purchased Etnies and Adidas too around this time frame from Amazon. I knew DCs ran small so just be careful. I guess these never broke in and remained tight . But I still order dcs off of Amazon to this day. (It's the luck of the draw)******************Before school started we went all over the mall looking for shoes (that how I know my 6 yr olds current shoe size) and I just was not satisfied. After coming home and being loyal to Amazon.. I found these. They are GREAT! They are a good brand so, they will hold up over the test of time. Clean looking and solid. The fact that they delivered to my front door too was awesome! But DCs run a bit narrow so he had to 'break them in' the first few days. Now, I don't hear a peep out of him and he even wears them on gym day.
I love the shoes but they're a bit narrow. I got a size up for that very reason but the shoes are so cute.
My kid loves these shoes. They haven't lasted very long, but any parent who has a skateboarder knows that skateboarding limits the life of shins, shoes, and laces. He skateboards 3-8 hours per day during the summer, so these poor shoes have taken a beaten. We've replaced the laces, but will absolutely get a new pair of this same kind as soon as these ones are done. They've been on his feet everyday since we bought them in April or May.
These are amazing. Fits and arrived as expected. Lastly for about 8 months until my son grew out of them. Price was great and quality is awesome. After wearing for that much time, they outlived the rest of the shoes I had previously purchased from other brands.
