Fit perfectly. Looks a described.
The design is adorable, and I wanted to give these 5 stars, but they're too narrow. While the velcro should make these easy to slip on and secure, we found that the top of the shoe, along with the heel portion rolls inward when putting them on. And they're such a tight fit that it's a little painful to correct. Once on properly, they fit comfortably; however, the difficulty in getting them on the feet overshadows that a bit. It takes some convincing to get our 4-year-old to wear them. If your child has extra skinny feet, you should be fine. But if your kid has average or wide feet, you may struggle.
These are darling shoes that my 19 month granddaughter really wants to wear but can’t. Earlier I bought a similar pair in the same design but a size smaller. She adored them and wore them until they were too small. When I bought this pair I was dismayed to find that the design of the shoe did not allow the top of the shoe to increase with the size increase. That being the case, it is too small over the arch of the foot. Too late to return so will be handed down to a cousin, but what a disappointment.
The sneakers look so cute on tiny feet but more importantly they’re easy for the parent to get on a wiggling toddler foot. The Velcro strap doesn’t seem to tighten the fit even when pulled tight but it’s a deterrent for said toddler to be able to easily pull his/her shoe off. My active toddler runs around nonstop outside and these shoes have held up well on various terrains
I bought these a size up for my at the time 3 year old. Even with the shoes open/unstrapped they fit way too tightly around the top of her foot (not the toes literally the top of the foot. I couldn't get them on more then once, I ended up gifting them to a friend with a younger girl in hopes they might be able to get them on her feet.
