Purchased a little kids size 1 and was pleased that this size comes with the velcro straps as I’ve read some reviews about the larger sizes coming with laces. My 7 year old is autistic and has trouble with fine motor skills, like tying his shoes, so we were glad to have receive the straps. Based off the reviews, I believe the next size or two up is when the laces start so just be aware depending on what you’re looking for!Although very nice quality shoes at a great price, we didn’t end up keeping these as they’re pretty narrow for my sons wide-ish foot. We usually purchase Vans when we can get a good deal but I noticed last minute before a Disney trip that he had outgrown his previous pair and we needed something shipped quickly. We ended up going with Hey Dudes instead and they’re great for his wide/flat piggies 🐷 and worked perfectly for Disney.
My son can be hard on shoes, these have lasted pretty good and still look good. He likes the styling and wears them ever day.

Ordered size 6, and they were not velcro, as pictured, but tie shoes. I was hoping they'd be velcro.
These shoes were purchased for my grandson and he loves them! I ordered 1 size bigger then he wears but, gives time to grow into them! Besides, kids grow so fast, I’m sure he’ll fully grow into them!
