I find it essential to be accurate and honest when writing reviews. With that said, I had read a review that said these were not authentic UGGS. That is INCORRECT and ignore that particular review. My pair are genuine. You can verify it by looking on the actual website, plus they come in a box with the authentication material inside of it.I bought this pair for my mother for Christmas. We already gave them to her because my daughter wanted her Oma to have a pair of UGGs. They fit her nicely. I was very impressed with the purple because it looks light in the pictures; however, it’s a darker grayish purple. She wears a size eight, and they fit her as a size eight shoe would. They are comfortable and provide good support. They are a stable use for my older mother. Of course, as with all UGGs, they are durable and versatile for wearing inside and outside.I will say to anyone with a wide foot, “Order a wide if available because these regular size shoes are not suitable for you because your foot will stretch and rip the shoe, which is your fault, not the brand or shoe. These slippers are exactly as advertised and well-made. They’re a bit pricey, which is a huge factor when I choose products, but for a professional brand product that lasts and is quality-made, I realize I will have to pay a higher price.
Before this purchase I bought a pair of slipper for $20, which were absolutely terrible! I then decided to try the UGG slippers for $110, which are amazing. I normally don't pay that amount but these slippers are worth the money. Great grips on the bottom, very soft & warm, and easy to put on. I read several reviews and many people indicated that the sizing is too small. I agree with those comments. I normally wear a size 7 but order a size 8. That size was absolutely perfect. Delivery was great and I definitely recommend those slippers.
Can’t go wrong buying these slippers. Comfortable and warm, but not too warm. I can wear them outside to walk the dog a short distance without worrying about damaging them. I’m a size 10.5 or 11. The size 10 fit perfectly. I put them on the minute i get out of bed, instead of walking around barefoot on cement foundation. Very comfortable and supportive, unlike others I’ve owned.
Most comfortable shoes ever! These shoes have fit, comfort, coziness, style, warmth, and really everything you would want in a 24-hour shoe. I can slip these on in the morning in my robe, then again after my shower, do housework, run errands, cook dinner, back in my jammies & robe - all with the same shoe! And no socks, to boot! I ordered a size 7 and I normally wear a 7-1/2. Many other reviewers stated that it's best to get them a little smaller, as they quickly adjust to your feet. They do. When I first slipped them on, they were snug (not tight but pretty snug), except the right foot was a little loose in the heel. I untied the rawhide bow (it's secured on with a fabric loop, so you have to patiently work it loose) and pulled the rawhide about 1/4" tighter. Fits like a dream. It's so secure on my foot that I forget that I have shoes on - no walking out out of them, ever. (Note: Once I re-tied the rawhide, I found it impossible to get the identical bow, but that doesn't bother me at all.) Whatever you do (feet up watching TV, driving the car, walking), the shoe is a part of your feet. So far, the sheepskin inside (your foot is completely encased in this wonderful stuff) has compacted only a very tiny bit (I've had them a couple of months with lots of use) and, from the looks of it, will continue to hold up for a long time. Perfect shoes!
Very comfortable, true to size. Nice and cozy. Feel snug to start with but they'll loosen up as sheepskin packs down. Love how they feel, good for lounging around.
Look just like the picture. Got the red. I am usually a 7.5. I sized up to the 8, and they fit just right. A little snug, but as the wool compresses, it'll fit nicely. Length is about a 1/2” between the end of my toe and the end of the slipper.I was surprised when I saw the inside is a piled sheep fur on a polyester backing. The wool is thick and quality. I actually thought it was shearling at first. It's possible because the wool is so thick, I might be overly concerned about the next point. What brought down the rating for me was being disappointed that the whole sole of the shoe is synthetic. The piled wool is attatched to a foam backing to make up the insole. That is then glued to a blue rubber layer that is the top of the outter sole. I was expecting a leather layer on the bottom of the wool as it holds up better over time for longevity reasons. This is a quality preference on my part. The insole takes the biggest beating from your foot and a polyester knit attached to a sheet of 1/8" craft foam may not hold up as well as other materials. The wool really is beyond the quality I was expecting. As long as you can't wear a whole through the fur, you're looking good. The bottom of this slipper is pliable rubber and reasonably comfortable. There is of course no arch support in these like most slippers. If you have foot problems, these are probably not for you. The lace is nice and thick, and I trust it for future adjustment needs when the wool compresses. All in all I would recommend these. I can't comment on durability other than my concern above, but they seem like they might be a good choice. I'm going to shop a little more, so I may not update if find something else.
