Teva Women's Ember MOC Slipper, Rooibos Tea, 5 Medium US Review

I. LOVE. These. Shoes.(And when I say "hideous" in the description I mean it in the BEST possible way - they're what I like to call "good ugly" and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it).I don't usually write long, raving reviews...but these shoes deserve one. So here we go!I work at an animal hospital, so I wanted to get some shoes that were both durable and comfy. I've been searching for ideal work shoes for a long time and I FINALLY found them. These shoes are PERFECT. They are SO SO SO SO comfy! They also really ARE water-proof. I was a little skeptical of it, but I have worn them in POURING rain and they've been absolutely fine (of course I didn't stomp around in puddles or anything, but still).They slip on/off very easily and you can wear them as slip-ons with the back down if you want; the back of the shoe is literally MADE for that option so it'll pop right back up! My ONLY complaint about these shoes is that I wish they made half-sizes. I usually wear a size 8, but they seem to run a little large (or maybe just very wide? I have extremely narrow feet). I try to wear thicker socks when I wear them so that they fit me better. So just be wary of that if you buy them online. If you have very narrow feet you may want to go to a store to try them on first. It doesn't bother me all that much, but I definitely wish they had half-size options or made a narrower version.Still, I love these shoes and DEFINITELY recommend! They're a little pricey but entirely worth it if you're looking for a comfortable yet very durable AND versatile shoe. I call them my "work shoes" because I mostly wear them to work, but I'd have no issue wearing them ANYWHERE because they're so fantastic. Thank you, Teva!

These slippers are just what I've been looking for. Here in MN, I wear my slippers indoors, all winter. None of my current slippers have much/any arch support and in many cases, they're far too warm when I'm moving around the house. I also wanted the convenience of slides so I can quickly slip them on and off as I come and go, but they tend to fall off on staircases (my house has four floors), so they're not the safest option. These Tevas are pretty much the perfect solution. They're warm but not too warm, supportive but also have soft cushioning. They stay on until I want to take them off and I really love the option of being able to flip up the heel to make them even more secure. The out sole also makes it easy to nip out to grab the newspaper or get something I've left outside in my car. I have a high arch and instep but there's no problem with the fit. I can wear them with or without socks - regular and woolen. I've always been a Teva fan and have four pairs of their sandals. I love the quality, looks and durability and this product is no exception. Highly recommend.

These are dope. Best lazy shoes ever. I got these for slipping on when I didn’t feel like tying up sneakers when its late and my dog wants to go out because she saw a fox out the window and now she has no other purpose in life but to go investigate....Best decision I’ve made with money in a while. I prefer them over normal shoes 99% of the time.They’re perfect for climbing outdoors because they are easy to just slip on between climbs when you have to take your climbing shoes off because the guy at REI told you that you weren’t a serious climber if you didn’t go down two sizes from what’s comfortable.They’re really comfy and might look a little awkward and puffy at first but get through the first 2-3 times wearing them and they’ll look more natural and not like you’re walking around with balloon feet. Either that or you just stop caring.They keep your feet warm when it’s cold but they aren’t hot when it’s hot. (Space age technology)They aren’t meant to be tight fitting so if you’re trying to hike in these, good luck. But, definitely a good shoe to have with you if you camp.Good stuff.

I'm not sure if I should consider these shoes or slippers. They'e comfy and great to wear around the house, and to run outside to the mailbox or whatever. But I can see wearing them out to run errands, if nothing else because they're comfortable and I'll forget to change. Folding down the back to wear as slip-ons works surprisingly well, and I don't even usually like slip-ons. I wear a 7.5 or more often an 8, and I saw reviews that they ran small, so I went with the 8. With my usual gym socks they slip up/down on my heels more than I would like and I'm not sure if it is the size or something else about them, but I suspect the 7.5 might turn out to be too small so I'll stick with the 8.Update 11/19/2018 - I could have sworn my original review of these complained about the color choices for women, and that seems to have disappeared. I wanted another pair of these in a neutral color, but the only color in the "womens" sizes I liked were the black ones I originally bought. I decided to buy a mens 7, and they appear to be identical to the womens 8 - they're not so fussy a fit that it would matter. So if you want some other color choices and take at least an 8, look at the size chart for the men's version.

Okay, let me start by telling you I am a huge Keen fan and purchasing these made me nervous as I was skeptical about them in every way.Now I feel like it's funny I ever was! The styling is different but yet very versatile. I purchased the black and they go with just about anything.The back "heel" area material is somewhat like a wet suit, with a neoprene feel. This makes them very easy to to slip on and off. I'm not certain if they advertise these as being waterproof but I wore them for several days during the rainy season and had dry feet every day I wore them.They have an firm and supportive soul. It wasn't what I had imagined it would be but I'm very comfortable walking all day in them.I purchased these because I needed some new shoes.
