Update March 2023 - still love them. I don’t get out of bed without them. I wear them about an hour a day on average but sometimes all day on the weekends.I got a wicked bout of plantar fasciitis a year ago that still hasn’t calmed down. I cannot go barefoot at all. I wear custom orthotics and cannot tolerate most shoes. I can slip right into these and wear them all day at home with no problems. That is a miracle. My feet are so fickle. I like a firm arch support that won’t crush like most soft slippers. These feel soft yet remain very supportive. They’re not like hard plastic like the Vionic slippers I recently purchased. I’m so happy I invested in these. Hopefully they hold up all winter. I won’t mind buying a pair every year. I’m a women’s 10.5, halfway between a wide and medium. The men’s 9 fit me perfect. Not too loose or tight. Love the little bumper behind the heel in this design. Also these are warm but not too hot. No sweaty feet problems this far.
These slippers for better then most shoes! Fantastic arch support and quality materials make these the most comfortable and nicest slippers I have ever owned. Tried alot of cheaper slippers, and some just as expensive but none compare to these. Glad I heard about this company from a Doc on the net speaking about foot pain. He recommended this company, he actually owned the same item.
My husband absolutely loves these slippers! They are solid with great arch support and super comfy! Once they wear out, we will buy another pair!
I’ve really loved these slippers. They help keep my heels from hurting. They do however have some issues, and at what you pay for them, needs to be addressed. The faux wool lining on the insert doesn’t last long before it pills up and becomes uncomfortable. I had some real leather inserts from a pair of dress shoes that had gone south, and those inserts on top of the manufacturers inserts fixed the problem. Using real wool fleece would have been the correct solution from the factory, especially considering what they sell for. Don’t be cheap when making $80-100 slippers! The back fabric at the heel of one slipper has worn and torn, leaving the inner foam hanging out. A small strip of leather reinforcement along the back heel would have prevented this. Again, manufacturer choices to shave small amounts off of the cost resulting in slippers that cannot hold up a full year. The sole is great, the tops are great, and the slippers look great. They should just be made a wee bit better so they last longer overall. Especially for what they’re sold for.
These things support and cradle my foot like my grandmother used to hold me when I was a kid. :-) These are the greatest slippers that have ever touched my feet. I recently shattered my right leg in motorcycle accident and require more support than I used too. Along with that...getting older hasn’t helped so I felt it was time for a proper pair of orthopedic house shoes. These things are a little stiff at first but really sing once you get them broken in. I often forget I’m wearing them and have to get out of the car and put on real shoes. I recently wore them on an entire 2000 mile toad trip and it was heaven, in fact I embraced them and even wore them out to a nice dinner a few times. They are warm in the winter and I have literally walked through snow and dirt in them just because I didn’t want to wear shoes. I had a pair of Sorels slippers before these and promptly came home and threw them in the garbage. Buy these and you won’t regret it. I also don’t see them breaking down anytime soon like most slippers. I’m going to by some Spenco insoles because I have withdrawals when I stick my foot in normal shoes with other insoles.
I bought my pair of these four years ago and they’re still going strong and I wear the s…out of them. Highly recommended from my vantage point.
Good support for wearing in the house instead of slippers.
I have worn these fabulous slippers every day since I got them: all day, every day whenever I'm home and not in bed or the shower. The arch support is wonderful, and I need it with my problem feet. For the record, I am female and prefer the no-nonsense style of these over many other styles for women. I had unisex Halflingers last time, but I like these a whole lot more. I am between a women's medium and wide width, so these were exactly right for me. I do wear them with athletic socks, which is what I prefer during the winter months. They fit so well right from the start that I was a bit afraid after wearing them awhile that the insides would smash down and make them feel sloppy/loose (as is what happened with the Halflingers). Not the case! These are a dream! Another bonus is that they are very warm, but don't make my feet sweat.4/17/20 Unfortunately these did not hold up to my constant wearing. They started to come apart at the back, behind the heel, after only a month. I mended/reinforced them and got more months wear out of them, but ended up throwing them out after a year. I didn't wear them during the warm months, so really only got 6 months wear out of them. I think they should have lasted longer. If you are female, give Easy Spirit clogs a chance as slippers. They accommodate an orthotic and they make several fuzzy/warm lined versions that are great as slippers, and hold up much better.
