Isotoner Men's Microterry Ergo Hoodback Slipper Review

I bought these for my husband as a Christmas gift. He is VERY particular about his slippers, and will wear a good pair through the soles. He needed a new pair so I decided to surprise him with some. I did copious amounts of research. We are a Vegan household, so finding a pair that was vegan-friendly was also a challenge. Everything I was finding was made with leather or wool (or both). All the ones I found that were vegan-friendly were made of very cheap materials that wore out quickly. I spent hours upon hours looking for the right pair of slippers that fit all these specifications. (Also, according to him they had to have indoor/outdoor soles, and an open back but not *fully* open). I finally found these and they met all our requirements. I ordered them, gave them to him on Xmas and since then he has not stopped raving about how comfortable and perfect they are! And like I said, he is picky! I will update my review after he's used them for longer and I get an idea of how long they last.

These were purchased for use when traveling. The airline I typically fly for long, international flight recently redesigned their slippers provided to the passengers and now they no longer fit. I bring these with me in my carry on and they work perfectly. Also use them when staying at hotels rather then the hotel provided slippers. They are light weight, very comfortable and take up little space in my luggage. Excellent choice.

Initially I thought these were too small; they're described as "medium size 8 to 9." I am size 8.5, and I've come to think they are sized perfectly and that my reaction was based on scuffing around in my previous slippers which were too large and quite heavy.This type of slipper needs to fit snugly, otherwise, lacking a heel, it is too easy to step out of them, which can be dangerous, especially going downstairs. These are lightweight, comfortable and nice looking. They have a soft, warm interior lining, so it feels as if I'm wearing warm socks even when barefoot. Recommended.

These slippers make me wish I didn't have such flat feet! But in a good way. Here, let me explain.They are super comfy on the feet. They feel like your foot is wrapped in feathers. But the bottom is made up of some kind of memory foam covered in a very soft material. My feet are VERY flat so I use custom soles sometimes so my knees don't get sore from doing work around the house but I wish I didn't have to with how amazing the sole feels.One thing to beware of is the size. I have a size 11 foot and the chart says I should need a XL. I knew this was a bit odd when I ordered them and sure enough they were too big. I ordered the L so just keep in mind to get a size smaller than the chart.

I shopped way too long for a simple pair of slippers but now I'm glad that I did. Your feet sink into the soft, cushioned memory foam for an extremely comfortable fit. This also keeps them snug on your foot. The little lip on the heel was the risk/reward. I didn't want the high back slipper but the no back slippers just left your foot to slip out. But the little rim on the back of these slippers is just right for keeping the slipper on your foot. The top is thick and soft, not hard stiff but stiff enough to keep its shape. Very warm all around. If they wash well and wear well then they will be the best slipper ever.

First, let me say, I'd expect there to be SOME heel retention to the shoe, meaning, the heel should have been cradled by some heel backing. They just reminded me of 'slides' that you have to slide along the floor to keep on. Second, the memory foam did not impress me, as I could feel the 'waffle' plastic pattern inside the heel that's below the foam. Uncomfortable. Sent them back.

First, as in all the other reviews, order a size larger if you want an easy comfortable fit. I wear size 9 men's and the XL fits me perfectly. But my wife and I both got these about 6 months ago and the soles are separating from the bottom of the slipper. I checked on line and found several people with the same complaint. These are usually trustworthy but seem to have gotten a bad batch. With PRIME, at $17/pair, I can afford to order another. Otherwise even with the guarantee there is a charge to return them and you have to pay fro return shipping. They are very comfortable but definitely do compress over a few months. When I tossed my old ones and put the new ones one there was a big difference in the softness on the bottom.

I bought these for my husband and he loves them. The fit was true to size and the color was spot on. I even tried them on and instantly felt the quality and comfort in the craftsmanship. Very durable but soft at the same time. They have a great sole for walking outside, which means your feet won't get wet if you need to walk on the grass. I am writing this review 3 months after purchase to indicate we are still very pleased with this purchase!
