Reviewers saying these aren't comfortable must have a different version of the slipper. As an old man, I have big-time problems in my feet, and these slippers have eased the pain considerably. Another reviewer didn't like them because the "heel collapsed". That's because there's no stiff shank running partway up the back of the slipper. You need that in boots, shoes, etc., but not in slippers or moccasins. In the latter, a shank takes away part of the comfort of the footwear. Plus, the heel doesn't collapse totally; it just gets a small crease in it. I especially like these slippers because the outer sole is sewn onto the upper, not just glued. The ones glued only last a year or two before the whole thing falls apart. This slipper isn't perfect, but for me it's a good buy...and comfortable. AbstractCowboy
