This is my second pair. The first pair lasted me 6 years. They are so warm, and so supportive. I have massive bunions so I have to be very careful what I put on my feet. Haflinger knows how to make quality comfort footwear. They're also good in the warmer months, since wool cools as well as warming. And my feet never sweat in these. I've just never had a better pair of sleepers, period. I love them so much, I bought a pair for a friend as well. High quality, super cute and amazingly comfy. There's no reason not to spend a little more to have one pair that lasts for ages than buying a new crappy pair of slippers every season. Also, in response to a negative review here, I have a Persian cat, and his hair only sticks to the bottom of the slippers. I just pull it off with my fingers every now and then. No biggie. The comfort far outweighs this minor inconvenience. (I consider it an effortless way to sweep up cat hair, personally.) . BUY THESE SLIPPERS! Your feet will thank you.
It's as if Birkinstock clogs had a baby with a soft, thick, high quality wool sweater. I have been having arthritic/bunion pain and arch supports have been a must for me, so I was on the hunt for quality slippers with an arch support. Not an easy thing to find. Especially not in a natural fibre. These certainly have arch support. They feel not as firm as Birkinstocks' cork soles, but the support is still there. The soles, while they are thick felted wool, feel sturdy. Not sure how they'll fare on laminate floors in time, as we live with 4 pets, so I expect them to get a bit grungy. So far the little gripper rubber things on the bottoms keep me from slipping around. I normally take a normal width size 9/10, Euro 40 in most shoes, and these fit true to size. The wool upper has give, and is much thinner than the soles so I imagine they'll stretch a bit in time, and I do hope they hold up because these slippers are both cozy and comfy (and probably the most expensive slippers I've owned). Plus they have a smiling kitty sashaying across the toes.

Another site warned me to order these a size larger than you normally wear as they run a bit small. It was good advice. I ordered mine one size up and they fit perfect!My feet get cold so easy but these slippers warmed my toes up very quickly without making my poor feet sweat. The arch support is perfect! I have very high arches and have never found slippers that have proper arch support until these.If you love Birkenstocks you will love these just as much; perhaps even more! They are so comfy, warm and supportive!The design is even more beautiful in person. The photo of them here does them no justice at all. The embroidery is intricate without being fussy. They are cute, comfy and well made. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants warm toes, great arch support, non-slip slippers that you will love so much you won't want to take them off!
The best part is the moderate arch support. That is hard to find in slippers these days. And the cat design is enhanced by a silvery tinge, making them more attractive than the gray color might suggest.
I LOVE these slippers. I buy a new pair every year because I wear gen from the moment I get out of bed until I leave for work and from the moment I walk in the door until I go back to bed. If you have plantar fasciaitis this is the shoe for you. It has a cork insole that corforms to your door and the wool lining is soft and warm, yet breathable. I've had several designs, the comfort and support is what I like. My feet get instant relief from standing teaching all day. I literally feel he aching go away as soon as I put on these slippers. If I get up in the middle of the night, I have nice warm feet to get to the potty. Your feet will NEVER ache again. I've been wearing the shoes for approximately 5 years or more. I work full time, I am a mommy to twins, I know ale care of my home, and go to school at night, these shoes provide my feet with some "me time"... lol!
I have a pair of these type of slippers from the same company that I've had for 1-15 years. They are not worn out nor do they smell. They are well worth the money!
No really, he did! I've previously had plain Haflinger slippers and loved them, and my old pair was at the end of its life so I was shopping for a new pair. I came across these and knew I had to have them! When they came in and I started wearing them, my husband couldn't get over how cute they were and tried to convince me that they should be his instead (we wear the same shoe size). Honestly, even he had to admit they are rather girly, but super cute!I wear my slippers whenever I'm home (we don't wear shoes in the house nor do we like to go around barefoot or just in socks) so they get a lot of wear. Haflingers are so comfortable! These are built just like my plain Haflingers so I'm sure they will wear just the same - I've had them for a few weeks now and they are great so far.
