I have a very high arch and love slip-ons esp around the house. I have 2 pair of these size 40. My US size is 8.5 and these fit me perfectly.Leather soles so probably best indoor only. Breathe well, not sweaty or stinky.Warm and cool.
Highlight of my day, rolling out of bed, or relaxing feet after work.Molded arch support fantastic relief. Warm, cozy, quiet. No rubbing, blisters, or sweating. I usually wear 40 EU (8.5/9 US), these are perfectly loose barefoot, or perfectly snug with thin sock. No pilling of wool felt. Sole provides sturdy support, flexible, not too stiff.Suede sole and brown felt marvelous color coordination with acid-stained mottled brown cement floor! Color and traction (and sound) on floor were actually factors in selecting these slippers. Happy happy.
In the past I ordered the classic style of Haflingers but these are by far more comfortable with a more substantial foot bed. The stitching of the leather soles will hopefully last much longer than the other style.
As expected, the slippers are warm and comfortable. I've always loved Haflingers. This pair is a bit large- size 10 ( 41) has always been a perfect fit. However I can make them work. I love the red color!
The leather on the bottom is really poor grade, not impressed.These were a replacement for 5 year old slippers of similar type and usage, which had zero holes in the leather. I will look at other brands for replacements for these replacements.
I needed new slippers and didn't want made in China which most are. I searched and searched and found these as I read the description and then the reviews I decided to give them a try. Yes they are pricey but sometimes you do get what you pay for. These slippers are so comfortable and have support my feet and back don't hurt at the end of the day like they did with my other slippers. I am so happy with this brand I bought another different style and more expensive, I admit, to use outside when the weather gets cooler. They came yesterday and love them too!
I only wear Haflinger and Birkenstock shoes. I had been wearing clogs in the evening, but really wanted something softer soled without sacrificing arch support. I tried Birk and Dearform first, but had to send both back. Tried these next and they are just what I hoped for. For reference, I wear a US 8 and order a 7us/38eu in Haflinger and Birkenstock, all styles. I order these 1 size larger (8/39) due to reviews saying they run small, but I did not find that true. I like them so much I decided to keep them to wear with my big wool socks for very cold weather and ordered a second pair, different color, in my normal size for milder weather and thinner socks. The arch is not as pronounced as the cork sole shoes, but more than I have found in other slippers and enough for relaxing at home when I am not on my feet constantly. I can't say how long they will last yet, but when they wear out I will replace them with the same model for sure.
I loved wearing them. In fact, I bought a second pair after the mauve pair, and Amazon has put the review under the wrong pair. I bought the grey pair for everyday use in APRIL after I HAD ALREADY BOUGHT THE MAUVE ONES. THIS REVIEW WAS FOR THE PAIR THAT WORE OUT WITHOUT AN ADEQUATE SOLE. Obviously, the picture is of the grey pair, Amazon!!!!!Obviously the soles do not stand up to everyday wear.I bought them in April and had to quit wearing them in July before they break any more.So if they're gonna stay in your closet most of the time, go for it.So disappointed, cuz I loved them and I can't make myself waste $ on a third pair after 2.5 months.
