I am absolutely in love with these slipper booties. The quality and fit are both amazing. They seem to be true to size, at least as close as possible with infant sizing in the several-month range. I also appreciate how easy they are to put on and that they stay on my daughter's feet. It can be a struggle to keep socks and booties on, but so far, it hasn't been an issue with these.
Bought these for my great grand-baby. Pros: easy to get on, good warmth and stay on. Cons: a little longer Velcro strap as she gets larger.
These run large. I have the 6-9 month size. The grippy pad on the botton of the left one is 5" long and the right one is 4 7/8" long, meaning it would be comfortable on a kiddo whose feet are a little smaller than that. I can get them on my 21 month old who is typically in 5T shoes, although they are quite snug on her with her toes pushing hard into the end. I'd say they would fit a kiddo in a size 4 shoe decently well. I think they would be fairly large on a 6-9 month old child, but it depends on your kiddo.They stay on well and have some flexibility at the ankle, although the tongue could stand to be a tad bit longer. The velcro pad is also a bit smaller than on similar slippers we have from other brands.The bottom is nice and grippy. I like that the entire bottom is covered in grippy dots and letters.I'd say these are a light to mid-weight bootie. This is about the same warmth as the fleece Hudson Baby and Luvable Friends booties, but not as warm as the sherpa lined ones of those.I like that the inside is a soft fleece and the ouside is another type of material that seems it will look nicer longer, vs. the fleece that gets pilly quickly.Overall these are very nice booties and I appreciate having them.
Baby socks are my nemesis… they never stay on and always seem to disappear. Booties are our preferred foot covering and these are a great option. The fabric on the Gerber booties is soft but not fluffy. It does have nonslip, and a typical length of Velcro along the ankle closure. Sizing is accurate but generous.
These are super warm and cozy booties that are great to keep newborn feet warm in the winter. They aren’t easy to kick off like socks. A must have for any mamas with littles in cold weather.
Slipper booties are so convenient and and frequently used during the fall, winter and early spring that they are practically a necessity. Have had enough experience with Gerber over the last two and a half decades that I ordered these without hesitation, and they are just as nice as expected. These are soft, adorable and high quality, and so easy to slip on and off, unlike shoes, which are nearly impossible with uncooperative baby feet! The convenience is definitely the best part about them. 😄 I have no doubt they will be outgrown before they wear out!
