I kept getting recommendations from friends on Dr. Scholl’s brand shoes so I finally took the leap. I am SO HAPPY I did!! These are super comfortable and my feet don’t hurt after a day of running errands. These are definitely casual shoes, would not use as an athletic shoe. But they are absolutely worth the buy. They’re also very stylish, I get compliments on them all the time!
I truly hope these aren’t discontinued! These are the most comfortable shoes. I have Psoriatic arthritis and I have no issues with these. I wear the the little ped no show heavier nylon sock with these.
- These shoes/slippers have no arch support. Not low arch support. one at all. This is extremely disappointing given that Dr. Scholl's is a brand known specifically for its supportive footwear. Even though some other reviewers commented on the lack of arch support, I held out hope. Nope. Not there.- Otherwise, they are a supportive shoe with a nice sturdy outer sole.- The insole has mild - moderate padding, so if you aren't looking for arch support, it's okay. Or, since the insole is removable, you could replace it with something with more support (but there is not room to simply add in a second layer unless you order a larger size).- Both the insole and the liner of the toe box have a nice terry layer underfoot, so if you were inclined to wear these without socks, you could. Note, though, that the area around the heel does not have the terry lining. It's just the same material as the exterior of the shoe.- The fabric upper is soft, comfortable, and nicely padded. I really like that it's made of a recycled product from an environmental perspective, and the fabric still feels nice, not plastic-like.- The fit in the toe box is a bit tight, by which I mean that they fit like a normal shoe. I got the size I regularly wear in shoes, and they fit exactly like a shoe should, but I was hoping that since they are slippers, that there would be more wiggle room, or that the fabric would be more flexible. It isn't. You may decide that is either a benefit or a detriment, depending on what you are looking for.- The walking surface is textured to prevent slipping. It is a shallower tread than you'd expect on a typical outdoor shoe, but it is much grippier than what I would expect on a normal slipper, so it's a good compromise, and I would be comfortable walking on slick surfaces, stairs, etc. without walking carefully the way I might want to in normal slippers.
These shoes are awesome, they are so comfortable, I have 3 now in different colors. They do however run on the large side, I had to go down a size, other than that, I love them. I would have given 5 stars if size was try to size.
These are the best everyday mom shoes for the grocery runs, sporting events, or walking the dog. Very comfortable, fashionable, and don't hurt your feet after a long day of walking.
True to size and very comfortable
Love my shoes not only trendy and fashionable but very very comfortable to wear 😊
Not the least bit attractive as a woman's shoe
