The Dearfoams Women's Fireside Moccasin truly stands out in the world of cozy footwear. First off, the quality of the materials is immediately apparent upon slipping them on. The genuine sheepskin lining envelops your feet in a warm embrace, which is particularly comforting during winter evenings.
The rubber sole is a game-changer, providing versatility that allows you to transition from lounging indoors to stepping outside without worrying about durability or traction. Whether you're running a quick errand or simply taking the dog for a walk, these slippers cater to your needs effortlessly.
In terms of moisture management, the sheepskin fibers do a remarkable job at wicking away sweat, maintaining dryness throughout the day. This feature is especially beneficial if you tend to wear your slippers for extended periods.
However, it's essential to note that while the slippers boast water resistance, they are not entirely waterproof. Therefore, it’s advisable to avoid puddles or heavy rain, as excessive moisture can infiltrate over time. Additionally, users should be mindful that the pre-treatment for stains may wear off, so regular care is necessary to prolong their lifespan.
Overall, the Dearfoams Fireside Moccasins are a splendid investment for anyone seeking premium comfort without breaking the bank. They make an excellent gift option as well, ensuring your loved ones experience that same level of coziness.

So I've had these for officially for 10 days (delivered on the 12th, it's now the 22nd). At first they were a smidge tight, as all shoes with fur/shearling/artificial fluff liners are, and just regular walking around the house after work at night has been enough to push the fluff down just enough to where it's a solid comfy snug fit, perfect for the cold weather in these Japanese houses. Very comfortable to wear and you can tell the soles are decent enough to wear out of the house for those midnight shoppette runs for liquor. Well, today I noticed a bulge on the side of my shoes. As much as I wanna blame regular wear and tear, there is no way my casual walking around my house at night before bed is what caused this inch and a half long hole. First time buying Dearfoam.
Ok, shoes are HARD to get a proper fit because feet are so weird. (But size shouldn't be that hard.) I'm an 8-1/2 based on the length of my foot, and I'm a little wide. 9 is always my go-to. Out of the box, these slippers fit comfortably -- properly snug to not slip around, but not too snug to start to feel tight. After wearing them only a few times briefly they are less snug and I can feel a little slipping of my foot. So I think the shearling is not as plush as I've had in the past. Leather will conform to your foot, so it's important to get the right size to start with.So these are genuine shearling and suede slippers. But, I don't believe that the shearling lining is actually grown from and attached to the suede outer. There is a visible seam in the tongue where you can see a cloth layer between the shearling and the suede. Maybe that's why these are less expensive. I don't know if they will be as sturdy as my old, worn out (more expensive) shearling slippers. But comfort and genuine leather are important in the fit of shoes and slippers.
Very comfortable and warm. Love them.
I purchased two identical pair of slipper and wearing the one every day.Love them. Today I tried on 2nd pair so tight hurt my feet. So uncomfortable there is no way that I can wear them. Cannot return them. Are not cheap. They're well-made and I love the pair I've been wearing. I am very unhappy I am stuck with almost $50 pair of shoes and I cannot wear them and I cannot return them. I never dreamed I would need to try on in a identicle pair of shoes very very unhappy
These house shoes are so comfortable. They fit true to size, and keep my feet warm. The rubber sole is great allowing me to wear outside and have nice grip.
The right slipper is smaller than the left and they make you lean back because the bottom is not flat, it curves up at the end of the slipper. I would return them but it's too much trouble. They are badly made—worthless.
Wore very few times and the fabric split along the side of the big toe - Defective product. Not worth the cost.
These are sooooo comfortable ! Fuzzy warm soft. Sizing was perfect. 4 stars because I keep having issues with one of the laces coming undone. There should be instructions on how to re tie the laces.
