Love these slippers!! Very comfortable and can be worn outside with the nice soles!
It’s strange but the black pair I just got fits better than the blue one. The blue one straps somehow is looser
These houseshoes are SUPER comfy but they run small...I think probably because they have such great padding in them. I wear a size 8 and had ordered these in the size L 9-10 for my MIL. They were too small for her but fit me perfectly. They did not offer any type of arch support and the width is fairly slim.
The inside tag is my only complaint
This is my second pair of these. My dog ate the other pair. They are very comfortable and I am hoping the dog will leave this pair alone.
It is a nice slipper but I think they are too wide for most people. They need to fit snugger. They are too loose. I think my foot is more average than thin. I think this material would stretch out so I think they are making them too wide. Their thong slippers were ALWAYS a great fit. They don’t have the ones that were so popular. You could buy them through Amazon and many stores had them. I saw 1 pair of I think they called the fuzzy or fluffy thong slippers, I will try them and if they aren’t a good fit I will have to ditch the Dearfoams line altogether 🙁 the Dearfoams I got before these were horrible (they were inexpensive) they’re in the “to go box” Have tried so many! Evidently the plant or whatever was making those thong slippers for Dearfoams had to close down in 2020 and couldn’t keep producing.
My last Dearfoam slide-on slippers lasted 10 years and started showing wear. I recently bought these and I’m just as happy. Differences: original pair were terry cloth versus velour. The velour is a little warmer than terry, but the memory foam is so comfy. Also, like some of the other reviews, the tag stitched on the insole is uncomfortable. I had to use a seam ripper to remove it so that it did not damage the fabric. Not sure who decided that was a good idea, but it’s easily resolved if you take your time carefully removing it. Lastly, I wear a size 9 regular and the large is a perfect fit. If you wear size 9-1/2 or 10, the large may be too small.
I've been wearing this style of Dearfoams for years, and until 5-6 years ago they were amazingly good slippers in fit and quality. But now, they have made the fabric top so wide that the slipper just slips around my foot after the 3rd or 4th day of wearing them in the AM's and PM's. I wash them weekly, and that will tighten them for a few days and then they are flopping again. The memory foam doesn't hold up now either. After about 4 months I have to trash them. Dearfoams doesn't care about good quality or fit anymore. The fabric itself wears really well and is super soft velour, but the foam in the sole, and the fact that the fabric stretches out so badly is not good.I do wish they would make a version of this with the old sizing where the fabric top was a lot snugger. Then make a version for people who need a looser top band.Dearfoams, please try to live up to all your advertising. Don't lie to us...Note about the horrible tag: Cut the tag out with a seam ripper, it takes some patience but it does come out all the way.
