The Dearfoams Men's Cypress Water Resistant Slip On Comfort Sneaker has gained popularity for its thoughtful design and comfort. The all-day wearability of these shoes makes them an excellent choice for busy individuals, whether you’re running errands or enjoying quiet time at home.
Starting with the comfort level, the shoe's memory foam insoles truly shine. They contour to your feet, providing personalized cushioning that feels heavenly from the first wear. The inclusion of energy return technology means you’ll feel recharged after each step, making long walks much more enjoyable.
The ease of putting on and taking off these sneakers cannot be overstated. The twin gore stretch inserts allow you to slip them on without hassle—a feature you’re likely to appreciate when you're in a rush.
Another significant advantage is their construction. With a durable rubber sole, these sneakers are not only resilient but also provide good traction whether you’re walking on slick surfaces outside or just moving around your home.
However, it’s worth noting that while they come pre-treated for water and stain resistance, this feature may diminish over time. Regular maintenance, including reapplication of water-repellent treatments, will help sustain this benefit.
In terms of style, the sleek black finish allows for easy pairing with various outfits, making these sneakers versatile enough for casual outings or relaxed moments at home. Overall, the Dearfoams Cypress sneakers present an impressive combination of comfort, style, and functionality, establishing themselves as a staple in any wardrobe.

These are exactly what I would expect from Deerfoam, a stylish and comfortable slipper-style sneaker.I ordered the "Loden" color, which is a sort of Olive green with black accents. I'm pleased with the color, it is subtle and classic. These are listed as "Comfort Sneakers", and I think that is a fitting term, as they are sturdy enough to wear outside, however, not intended for running, tennis, or other sports. The slippers are lined with the classic DearFoam plush with cushioned insoles. The Micro-suede uppers are soft are flexible while still providing some support, this yields a very comfortable shoe. There is a thick white banding surrounding the shoes where the sole meets the upper, with reinforced black pads at the toe and heel, with a thick anti-slip rubber sole where the shoe meets the ground.Unlike other slippers, these work well outdoors. Personally, I would not go on a hike in these, however, they are perfect for a quick trip to the mailbox or garage. (Actually, our mailbox is a bit of a hike, so I guess, to be accurate, I should rephrase my remark to: "I would not go on a LONG hike in these".)These are only offered in full sizes. I normally take a 10-1/2 in dress shoes and an 11 in work boots. Based on these being more like slippers, I opted for a size 10, which fit perfectly. Of course, that is one of the advantages of shopping at Amazon - super quick and easy exchanges if you need a different size.Bottom line: I am very pleased with these "comfort slippers", they fit well and are very comfortable. Considering the quality, I feel these are a very good value.
These are super comfortable sneakers. They will get a lot of use this winter for around the house stuff mostly. They don't look super fashionable, but that really doesn't matter for lazy shoed. My one complaint is that they run a bit small. I recommend going a size up. I don't know if this is because of the extra padding on the inside. But these are a bit more snug than I'd like
These Dearfoams Cypress slip on comfort sneakers aren’t as comfortable as I had expected. I’ve always enjoyed wearing Dearfoams, and I liked the simple look of this style, so I ordered without hesitation. They definitely feel more like a sneaker, than a slipper. The rubber outsole is thick and substantial, but feels hard and firm, with average cushioning, that seems to return energy, but not absorb it. They’re probably more suitable for indoor wear, than they are for outdoor wear of any significant duration. I didn’t find them to be ideal for walking, the overall comfort is slightly below average, the cushioning is just too firm and hard for my needs. They appear to be reasonably well made and of good quality. They’re fairly lightweight, easy to slip on and off, and provide adequate grip and traction. The interior lining feels soft and plush. They look reasonably stylish, with a simple minimalist look. The black color looks sharp, and the water resistant material has a suede like feel. I haven’t yet tested the material’s water resistance, but rain is in the forecast for this weekend, so I may soon have the opportunity. The size 13 runs long and wide, about a full size too big. I strongly recommend sizing down a full size for a proper fit. At around $57, they’re not a bad value, certainly an option worth considering. I recommend considering other options as well. There are better cushioned slip on sneaker style options available, and more comfortable slipper style options available, this shoe is stuck somewhere in the middle, it has a little bit of both, but not enough of either.
Some of the most comfortable shoes I own! I love these shoes! They fit like a dream, and are so comfortable I don't remember I am wearing them! Perfect for inside or out. Giftable. Love!
Dearfoams are a good quality shoe. I've had some of their shoes and slippers in the past. These are kind of a hybrid between a "house slipper" and a comfort shoe. Maybe along the same lines as wearing Ughs in public. The sole is hard rubber than you might typically find in a sneaker type shoe. Not as soft as you might find in a running shoe, but a casual wear sneaker. I got the whiskey color which really looks like an old man shoe. Around the house they are comfortable and the rubber sole allows for the occasional jaunt outdoors for Amazon package retrieval but other than that I won't be wearing them much in public. Maybe good for walking the dog if you are staying within a few blocks of home. They are comfortable but not as comfortable as a good walking or running shoe. They offer some arch support but not a lot. They sizing seems to be right on so I'd order your normal size, maybe in the dark color so you're not looking like the previous generation heading to your favorite bingo parlor. Maybe this styling will come back into fashion soon!
The bottoms of these shoes have felt in some places.. At certain angles it's actually possible to slip on smooth surfaces. The over all feel is not great on the foot. I've actually not been able to wear them enough to break them in because I'd rather wear something else. Have not had a great experience with these
I got these for my husband as an alternative to his clogs and he likes them quite a lot. They feel good and fit well. He's not going to be taking long walks or running in them as he's a bit agoraphobic, but for working in the yard on rare occasions or going to the mail box they're just fine.I don't think they're a good value at the asking price, but your mileage may vary.
Bought this for my husband as anniversary gift, but it came in plastic bag without good shoe box. The shoes themselves are with good quality, there's a layer of 'fur' inside, keeping the feet warm. My husband says it's more suitable for the elderly to keep the feet warm, but he prefers sneakers to stay light and more breathable.
