They don’t really tighten around the ankle to the Ted to fall off
So everyone around babies loves booties, and I was thrilled at an option beyond socks for keeping little tootsies warm. These booties are definitely eye-catching with that homespun charm and are plenty thick, but darn it if it's hard to keep them on! Even with my baby asleep these fall right off. I'm wondering if it may just be matter of playing with sizes, but I still doubt there is enough support around the ankle to keep them on. Ah, well, just don't use them in places they can be lost.
The fleece lining keeps feet warm (maybe too warm if your baby is super active!). No problems with the sizing and they are fairly easy to slip on and off on my baby's feet. Of course very active kids can try to kick these off, along with their socks or any other shoes. Love the little "Dearfoams" tag in the back because her bootie slippers not match the Dearfoams one I have! Would make for a great Christmas gift or first indoor shoes for little ones! Soft and plushy and holds up fine in the wash.
These slippers are cute and warm, and pretty true to size, however like most baby slippers they do not stay on. I had high hopes for them because the elastic ankle looked promising, but they were off within about 20 minutes for my baby. So far the only ones I've found that stay on are the kind that button on the ankle like Zutanos. If you don't have a super squirmy child though, these are otherwise nice little slippers.
