I used it to give as a funny gift and the person who got them liked it and thought it was funny. They did fit as expected. Great find.
Not only are they just absolutely adorable, they are the comfiest and warmest things I've ever had the pleasure of wearing on my feet. They fit very snug like you'd expect from a winter slipper, but not tight or uncomfortable. The insoles are very plush, almost like a memory foam type of feeling, which they may be. I wear a 13 women's or 11 men's and I'd say I'm at the very top end of what would be comfortable for that listed size, but it's perfect. If you wear the lower end of that range I'd say they'll still be very comfortable with a bit of extra room without being loose. The stitching appears to be very well done, no loose strings or loose ends coming apart. Only thing I'll note that could bother some, is that they do make a bit of a sticky sound on wood or tile floors. But to me that's just the sound of the non-slip sole doing its job, and that makes me feel even more comfortable. Which of course is to say, I tried out that feature and it seems to work pretty good as well, not like some other slippers that earn their name by having you slipping and sliding all over the place. So, I'll end with, I absolutely love them!
My fish scientist fiance loves these! The thread holding the nose part down on one of them popped off, so he's got a rather erect nose now, but other than that, they're awesome.
I was impressed by the sewing job! It's very soft and fluffy and it has great cushioning on the bottom that make it feel like you are walking on clouds. The fit is great so if you decide to order it, order your size exactly - unless you want to wear big socks with it, then I would suggest ordering a bigger size to fit big socks. I get cold feet easily and these slippers have surprisingly kept my feet warm
These slippers are cute and that's why you are thinking of buying them. Do not buy this if you expect some high end slipper that will last a long time. These are like the cheap ones you'd find at any store, only cuter. Only real complaint is that they get a little hot and uncomfortable after about an hour wearing them
With less than 3 weeks of light wear, these have come apart in SO many places -- seams opened, and the noses and fins have all come un-tacked, so now they flop and drag.It's a shame, because they're fun slippers and my husband says they're very nice to wear, but they won't last much longer.
My daughter thought these were hilarious. They are warm, seem durable, and fit as expected. Strange, but got some laughs.
I got these semi-ironically but also because I love blobfish. I think they are pretty underrated fish and they are pretty funny looking. I thought they would be unique and I was excited to get lots of compliments on them. They are pretty much what I would expect from plushy slippers and the color/quality is pretty similar to what is pictured. I wear an 8.5/9 in shoes, so I got the medium. I wish I had gotten the large though, because while I fit in them they were pretty tight on my feet. I thought the half size would keep my feet secure but I think a large one would have fit perfectly. The shoes are plush so your foot gets sucked up by the mass of fluff and it is kind of a nice feeling but it is also super weird to feel. I think I am just not used to thick slippers. They have about a ¾ of an inch pad on the bottom to which everything is sewn in and I think the build is pretty average. The shoes are what I expected and I think that the shoes really take the cake for their uniqueness and similarity to the picture. I would just make sure to size up in the future for optimal comfort.
