After standing all day at work, the first thing I do when I get home is put these on. Such relief! They have thick bottoms that give great cushion. The width is somewhat adjustable with the cross over Velcro top, so you can make them super snug or give some extra space if you prefer. The bottom sole is rigid enough that they can handle a lot of walking while the cushion is thick and durable enough that you don’t feel the floor coming through. It’s a great barrier between my feet and the ground.I wear them everyday as I’m moving and working around the house, and my first pair lasted for over a year. After a whole LOT of wear, I finally decided the cushion was not as great as it had been so got a replacement pair. The 2nd pair have been just as great as the first pair and are powering through all the wear that I give them.I’m super picky about shoes because my feet are so sensitive to anything that is even slightly too tight, too loose, too hot, the footbed being slightly narrow, etc etc. These beauties rise to my high expectations and perform beautifully.I highly recommend!
I wear these way too much because they're so comfortable. I have "tender feet," by which I mean I'm easily bothered by irregularities in both soles and uppers. Any pinching or sense of sand-like particles, and I take my shoes off. I want good form, fit, and function. I'm buying a new pair today because my two-year-old pair is kaput. But I love them and they're worth the price. It took me a little bit to get used to the enormously cushy insole, because it actually elevated my feet a bit above the floor. That moved my center upward. But that was a short period. I wear a size 10 in shoes, and the fit was as expected. They're a little longer than I actually need, but not so long as to cause tripping. That little bit of extra length and the adjustable strap lets me get these babies to stay on with absolutely no pinching or slipping off my feet. They're wide enough, but they aren't boats, unless perhaps you have very narrow feet. My width is medium.I love the way they look and feel. I've washed them by hand and in the washing machine. I don't put them in the dryer. I hang them on a drying rack or a doorknob. They do take a good 24 hours to dry because of the thick foam. Don't put them in the dryer. The materials may melt. I'd be comfortable gifting these, as long as I know my recipient's size. I know a lot of women who want slippers that fit well and feel good, but don't want to pay more than $20. Well, you have to pay a little more to get great slippers, so yes, they would be a good gift. I certainly would appreciate them if someone gifted them to me. I definitely recommend these.
I like using spa slippers in my bathroom after a shower, especially if I want to lotion my feet or something. I had been collecting free hotel slippers and using those forever, but they're basically disposable and can't be washed. Bought these to replace them and they're pretty good. I still prefer the cheaper spa slippers because they are more flexible and better suited to my purpose. My only complaints with these is that they are too thick and stiff (a plus in other slipper use cases, for sure --- and I'll admit, the memory foam is nice), and they take ages to air dry after washing.
Have purchased this brand multiple times over the years. Comfortable and durable
I have several in different colors! Love the comfort.
They are perfectly size for wearing with socks around the house. They get looser with age but you just adjust the Velcro strap and it’s good again.Washed my other Acrons many times and they lasted well over 2-3 years with daily wear.I use a pair at my daughters house when visiting and they survived the dog who loves stealing and mouthing shoes and slippers. Well constricted. With extreme age and many washings the padding sinks and the material can get worn bare in the heel and they begin to lean in the direction just like any old shoes. The bottoms wear just like shoes too for pronators or supinations. The exact same pair I purchased before these lasted 4 years before the bottom cracked and I had to buy these. I wash them on delicate with detergent and a tiny bit of bleach to get the staining off from dirty floors, then squeeze them out by hand over the foam part to be sure the extra water is out and air dry for a couple days. They look like new again. I also use cleaning wipes on the bottles ms every few months to get off floor dirt and food from the kitchen or if I go into the garage or porch. They do turn darker from the floors but no one sees the bottoms. If my floors were cleaner or I only wore them after showers that probably wouldn’t happen. Acorns are the best!
