The color is beautiful. They are easy to get on and off my 18 month old, but stay on well when she's walking. The last part is key because I had to order them a bit big due to size availability. I figured that if they were waaay too big, she'd always grow into them. I think may run a bit small. Maybe because they would stretch out a bit if the child wore an 8/9 shoe? My little one wears a 6.5/7 and there is about a thumb width of room at the toe and they are not falling off from being too big. She can wear them and walk without a problem. They seem really well made and comfortable. She is also at an age where she has opinions on shoes and loves them. Highly recommended!
They fit perfectly and are very well made. They are comfortable but they are a bit pricey for boy's slippers. The Acorn ones I wanted were $50 if you can find them. These were just over half of that. Over priced for my tight budget. The quality is reflected in the finest details. They provide solid footing on slippery floors. Hopefully they will last 2 years like my last pair of Acorns did. If so then worth the price, but only time will tell. Please keep a better stock of Acorn slippers in darker solid colors. Us guys don't like Hot Pink Ocelot that seems to be rampant in every Acorn style. Get and keep a better selection for older boys, like these for instance.
My Pre-schooler loves these slippers, they are super cozy and warm inside, the no-slip bottoms are perfect for the tireless escapades he has all over the hard-wood floors. He has cold feet and always wants to wear socks - socks even with the rubber on the bottom really don't stop a little monster with a mission. These ACORN slippers do! I can see myself buying these for years to come. The quality is superb.1. Cozy2. Do not slip3. Excellent Quality4. Easy on/off for the uncoordinated pre-schooler5. Styleista - Look great (no fuzzy big bird slipper nonsense - no offense!)5 Stars!.
These seem like sturdy little shoes, but they run really small (compared to my daughter’s size 10 Converse). We’re returning them.
My son wants to wear these all day long and even outside. He finds them so comfortable.
Order at least one size larger. My 3 year old daughter is a perfect 8, almost 8.5. I ordered the 8-9 m and it was too small. They are super cute and appear durable and comfortable so we ordered the 10-11. Fingers crossed that they fit. They seem perfect for her preschool slipper requirement.
After reading all the other reviews on this brand of slipper, I was nervous about them being too small as so many other customers complained about. I did not have this experience at all. My daughter wears a size 3 1/2 tennis shoe which leaves a thumb's width of growning room at the big toe. I ordered these slippers in size 3/4 and they fit well enough to stay on her feet but are big enough that they will fit her until she is truly a size 4. I always replace my daughter's shoes before her toes reach the very end and I don't necessarily go by what the foot measuring tool at the shoe store reads. Instead I see what she feels most comfortable walking in. Her foot is also very wide at the toes. I don't know if this approach is why I had better results but I'm very happy with the slippers. I actually bought her 2 different styles of these slippers, one pair did not have elastic at the sides. One pair is for school & one is for home. The only difference between the two is the pair with elastic at the sides are a little wider around her foot. If your child has a very narrow foot you might want to look at the styles without elastic sides. As far as quality and appearance these are the best made and cutest slippers that are actually functional that I've found. I am extremely happy with my purchase and am glad I did not let the negative reviews keep me from buying them. I hope this review is helpful as far as determining what size and style to buy for your child.
Great little slipper. My daughter needed slippers with a sole for school and these are perfect. They seem durable but soft and she can get them on herself easily. They are a tad on the small side, but she's also between sizes right now. Wish I'd ordered up half a size or so though. They're cuter than in the picture too!
