My husband’s third pair. Absolutely loves them! Warm, cozy, comfy and affordable for their endurance! Last pair-which he uses for quick jaunts to get wood-are over three years old. He wears a size ten shoe so bought a medium and they are a perfect fit! Highly recommend purchasing these and Acorn is a brand you can truly count on!!! Enjoy!
First box had wrong size in box! Returned and ordered again and correct size in box!! Fit great and feel great. Lesson learned check size on bottom of slippers against size marked on box
Great fit and warm!
First, I made the mistake listening to one reviewer that I should order one size up. I usually wear a 10, so I ordered a large (10.5-11.5). They ended up being way too big (for me). I returned these (thankfully free returns) and ordered a medium. They are perfect. I usually don't wear socks - actually I hate wearing socks (at most footies) and these are THE most comfortable slippers I've EVER worn. So nice. These keep my feet warm as well as my ankles and up my calf (a short distance). These are the "slouch" design which do not constrict my calf like socks. I read many reviews the standard Acorn slippers (leather bottom and standard cuff) are very tight around the calf. So, these are perfect for me. They're warm, have a fairly substantial sole (which I can wear outside), and loose fitting around calf.
These Acorn slipper socks were a 2023 Christmas gift to my husband. He is very happy with the style of slipper, but after wearing them for just two weeks (today is January 5, 2024), the stitching around the top of the sock on both slippers has come loose. For the brand and price, this is very disappointing.
These are nice and toasty without being to hot. We love them
I like the look of these slippers, their lightness and their warmth, but they do not fit a human foot - so they don't really work.I have two major complaints about Acorn Men's Slouch Boot Slipper. The first is that the soles of the slippers are very thin and very long making wearing these gives me the feeling of walking on a balance beam or something. Even though the sole material seems durable and insulative - due to the narrowness of the sole my foot overlaps on both sides like I am trying to balance on the thing edge of a rubber 2x4. It makes me feel unstable, like I am going to twist my ankle and stumble. The second is something I should have realized before I bought these, but I did not because they looked so warm, that is that the sock part of these slippers does not allow for the slipper action. i.e. slipping them on and off like, you know, "slippers". If you put these on, you better be going to wear them for a while because if you step outdoors or want to take them off you have manually take them off and cannot just slip them off. Then if you put them back on you have to put them on like boots or galoshes. It's not convenient.I have to admit, if these fit better and were not designed for some kind of weird very narrow and very long foot, I would keep them. They are comfortable and warm - just cannot see how they would fit any but the most peculiar of feet.Acorn Men's Slouch Boot Slipper - rated 1/5 unacceptable - returning.
I was looking for a pair of slippers that would keep my ankles warm and be comfortable on my feet. I did find that in this product. But that's as far as it goes. I've owned the slippers for less than a year and the elastic at the top has let go on both shoes. The sewing between the sole and the wool sock portion has started to come undone. I only wear these inside the house and they do not go outside. Yes I do wear them 8 to 10 hours of the day. I work from home so I can be comfy all day long. I do not believe the slippers last any longer than wearing long socks. For the price I would buy just a couple extra pair of socks from another company.
