When you lace up the Globe Men's Superfly Skate Shoe, you're not just putting on any sneaker; you're stepping into a world of style and performance that caters to skaters and casual wearers alike. The sleek design in white, black, and turquoise makes a bold statement while ensuring you stay comfortable whether you're hitting the skate park or hanging out with friends.
The upper is made from a combination of leather and synthetic materials, which not only adds durability but also contributes to the shoe's distinct appearance. Thick laces provide a secure fit, allowing you to focus on your tricks rather than worrying about your footwear. The contrast trim gives it an edgy look without being overly flashy, making it suitable for various settings.

With the Globe Men's Superfly Skate Shoe, you can expect a well-rounded performance across several categories. The breathability of the linings ensures your feet stay cool, even during intense skating sessions. This feature is often overlooked but is crucial for maintaining comfort over prolonged use.
The rubber sole provides excellent traction, allowing you to execute jumps and tricks with confidence. Whether you’re landing a kickflip or just cruising down the street, the grip allows for precision and control. Additionally, the thick laces are not merely for aesthetics; they serve to lock your foot securely in place, minimizing slippage and enhancing overall comfort.
In terms of style, Globe has managed to create a shoe that stands out without being gaudy. The colorway of white, black, and turquoise gives it a fresh look that can transition seamlessly from skate parks to casual outings. However, it's worth noting that some may find the sizing a bit snug, so trying them on before purchasing could be beneficial.

The first thing I noticed when trying on the left shoe was that there was a bump on the bottom inside to the front. I tried flattening the bump, thinking that this was just a factory oddity that had a simple fix. It turned out that flattening the bump didn't work at all, and the bump remained a problem that would make wearing the shoe uncomfortable. I couldn't imagine skateboarding for very long at all without my foot becoming uncomfortable, or even walking for very long at all without my foot being uncomfortable. The right shoe fit just okay, and seemed to have a rather sung fit for a size 11. The obvious yet important thing Globe either doesn't realize or doesn't care about about a pair of shoes, is that BOTH shoes need to be able to fit, not just one. I can't help but wonder if the people working at quality control at Globe's factory are doing their job correctly, or even if Globe has any people working in quality control at all. I wasn't charged a shipping or restocking fee when I created a return for this item, and I was refunded the price of the shoes, the tax, and the cost to have the shoes shipped to me. I'd recommend shipping your order back too if you received shoes in the same or similar condition to the ones I got. If you're looking for some good skate shoes, I'd recommend getting a pair by World Industries. I owned a pair of World Industries shoes over 5 years ago, and they fit great and had no factory defects at all.
Recent injuries made me seek a mid top over my normal shoes. I like the velcro strap for added support. It's a good overall shoe, just got it so can't attest to its durability, but Globe has always been reliable for me there. Sucks that ordering from Amazon get the stickers/keychains/extra laces that always come with the shoes stolen. Not even a discounted price so do expect to be completely jacked of ANY extras that are standard with these shoes. Even the 3rd party skate shops online aren't petty enough to take the stickers, and they definitely don't take the extra laces. Oh well, faster shipping with less standards of quality, what are you going to do? Would recommend this shoe to anyone, would recommend you get it from another source if at all possible (couldn't find my size anywhere else).
