I use these as my everyday shoes. I wear them to and from work and anywhere that isn’t special outside of the house. They’re comfortable and last a long time while staying comfortable. The first time I bought them (two years ago), they were smaller than expected and I had to return them for a different style because the style I wanted wasn’t available in my size. The replacement process was easy and quick.
A little stiff out of the box as expected should be perfect after a day or two breaking them in. Fit perfectly and what I expected so I'm happy with the shoes.
These look so great in the black/black, just laced them up last night and will put them on tonight, I imagine they'll be as comfortable as all the other shoes I've bought from this company, definitely happy with this purchase!
Great fit, quick shipping
I'm a non-skating woman and I bought these shoes because I love the look of a black skate shoe. It's got a simple design and no big colored logo like on most women's sneakers. I had been looking around a long time before making this choice and I'm generally happy with it. They do look sleek and stylish, also it's more black than gray (not like the pictures) and goes with everything. Breathable despite the synthetic nubuck (I think?) and very resistant to shocks and damage. I have ankle tendinitis so the foam padding really helps. However, this is the cons list, they do require a bit of breaking in for a size 6. The right toe makes a bend that digs into the arch, something you can't really fix if you only wear these shoes occasionally. One side of the laces came without it's plastic sheathe which was problematic for lacing the left shoe. Had to use sticky tape from home. I want to try a different pair and will definitely go stick with Etnies. Shipment was fast (1 week, I live in France but that's UPS for you, unless you're broke) and packaging was intact.
