The Etnies mens Czar is designed with skaters and daily wearers in mind, offering a blend of durability and comfort that stands out from the crowd. This shoe features a robust cupsole construction combined with an STI Evolution Foam midsole that ensures superior cushioning and shock absorption. The upper is reinforced with a fused on, injected rubber toe cap, making it incredibly resilient against wear and tear.
One of the standout aspects of the Czar is its attention to comfort. It incorporates a padded tongue and collar, providing excellent support around your ankle and foot. Additionally, the shoe boasts a Pro Foam 1 Polyurethane insole which adds an extra layer of comfort while you’re on the move. Flexibility is also a key focus, thanks to full-length flex grooves in the outsole crafted from 400 NBS rubber, allowing for natural foot movement.

Great shoes..These have removable insoles my old Jeffersons didnt.Good look on zeh feet, comfortable. This is my 2nd or 3rd pair of Maranas
these were purchased for my husband by my husband. purchased after tired of vans being too stiff and brooks being to much of a tennis shoe. he loves the feel, very comfortable, and so far has held up well. would recommend and purchase again
Very comfortable shoes and beautiful design and color.
I picked out these shoes as they're one of the few skate shoes remaining that are still well made and durable in their materials. Their partnership with Michelin is rad and you can just see the quality in that.Unfortunately these are the most narrow does I've ever tried on and they run short as well. I'm usually a 10.5-11. I got these in 11 and they were woefully small. So I ordered an 11.5 which I never do, and a 12 as I really wanted these to work. 11.5 came close but was too narrow, and the 12 was way too long and STILL narrow!!!!So if you have narrow feet, rejoice as you've got the sickest skate shoe out there available to you. Anyone with normal to slightly wider feet, sorry but you gotta keep looking.
I can say confidently that these are among some of the best skate shoes I’ve ever owned. The reinforcement around the toe area has kept it from degrading, it’s lasted at least 2x as long as other skate shoes I’ve owned. Almost no wear at all to the bottom soles, and the rubber around the toe has also degraded slowly. The fit is as expected, fits me well (ordered the same size I get for other shoes). The laces will tear, like every other skate shoe when you’re doing a lot of flicking. But the holes for the laces have not ripped, so re-lacing is easy. The shoes are sturdy and provide decent support, more so than a smaller designed shoe like classic vans or converse.Overall, these shoes are great for skateboarding. Not too expensive and worth any extra cost because of the durability. Highly recommended.
I purchased these to make installing solar panels a bit easier. They will not match the grip of a Tiger Paw shoe. But, the smooth bottom is very grippy. I will be buying another pair when these wear out.
What else is there to say? This and Joslin’s Etnies are on the legends list of the best skate shoes.
