When you step into the Etnies Men's Chris Josl1N Pro Michelin Skate Shoe, the first thing you’ll notice is the quality craftsmanship. The one-piece seamless toe vamp, complemented by the Evertoe underlay, significantly reduces the chances of blowouts – a common issue with many skate shoes. This feature alone makes it a worthy investment for serious skaters.
The innovative System Flo2 tongue not only allows for enhanced ventilation but also contributes to overall comfort during extended use. Cooler feet lead to better focus on your tricks rather than discomfort. The addition of the elastic tongue strap further provides a snug fit that keeps your foot securely in place whether you're hitting the park or the streets.
Impact protection is another key area where the JOSL1N excels. With the Pro Foam 1 PU insole paired with an Evolution Foam midsole, you can expect excellent shock absorption when landing jumps or navigating rough terrains, making it an ideal choice for those who love to tackle big gaps or ledges.
While most users praise its performance, some may find that breaking in the shoes takes a bit longer than anticipated. Additionally, the range of colors might be limited compared to more mainstream options, which could deter some fashion-forward skaters.
Overall, the Etnies Men's Chris Josl1N Pro Michelin Skate Shoe is a robust combination of style, performance, and practicality. It's thoughtfully designed to cater to the needs of serious skateboarders while standing out as a stylish footwear choice.

The Etnies Joslin is the greatest skate shoe out there. I have purchased 4 or 5 pairs of these guys in both regular and vulcanized. The regular shoe (this shoe) takes a while to break in, especially if you have wider feet. They are a bit puffy. You might not have this problem if you have regular or narrow feet. But, once they break in they are super comfortable. This shoes still have great board feel but are soft enough to take impact. They are durable too. The Michelin sole is not a gimmick. These things last.If you like a comfy, puffy shoe that Skates well and will last, buy these. They are great. The only downside is, they seem to come and go. Occasionally they are out of stock. Sometimes out of stock for months. Amy time I see these available for a decent price I try and pick a pair up. That's the other great thing, you can often find a deal on these for $50-$60. At that price it's an absolute steal.Etnies is great. Joslin is great. This shoe is great.
maybe runs a little small, i usually skate 10.5 but had to go for an 11 in these bad boys. Very well made, extremely durable, the suede is thick so last long against constant kick flips, and protects the top of the foot from flying boards. good grip. Sole is not too thick, but still protects the foot well if you primo and feels really good with drops/impact. Love these shoes, bought 3 pair so far, and Joslin is a goat, so great dude to support on top of it all. Nice to see a core skate shoe brand have the same quality of materials as Nike and New Balance.
I skate in these 10/10
